@@AviatorMage I'm overnight at a big box gas station, so I pretty much only work with my managers. the amount of times i'd had that happen made me want to scream since what it actually means is that someone either at the end of a days shift or the start, couldn't be bothered to do an actual inventory check.

If I have learned ANYTHING from working retail, is that people will still venture out in the end of days. When I worked at Natural Grocers, people would come during intense snow storms, or tornado warnings. Once, a customer came in during a tornado warning and was yelling at an empty register about the horrendous customer service... we were all in the back, taking cover with other customers.
as someone who worked at 7-11 and had to do online orders, if you ordered a hot dog, sprite, and taquito to be delivered to your door, you're my 13th reason why
1:09:05 Former uber-eats driver here, we don't care/know whats in the bag most of the time. If its a small bag thats great, less heavy lifting and the order is quick. Speaking of quality, your stuff was such high quality that the card sleeves I ordered traveled into the past so I could get them a day earlier than expected! Also yeah I have heard praise from (this is weird to type) an actual youtuber about Framerate's merch beforehand.
Probably to show how much it means to them My opinion is that it helps normalize the fact that everyone/anyone can experience struggles and people aren't alone while they're going through it
@@burneveryabc I guess that makes sense. Ive seen a few comments like this and Ive always wondered what the intention behind posting a comment like that is. I really didnt mean anything bad, I was just asking cuz I was curious lol
I kinda would love Ray and Tina to watch The Good Place, solely for the line "it's a human insult, it's devastating, you're devastated right now". I think they'd get a kick out of that line, and a bunch of others. They'd get a kick out of the quips on that show.
My partner was watching this before and I was only half paying attention. When I looked up, y’all were stocking before your final close and I saw the cut-outs and asked “what are those guys in the corner doing? Are they supposed to be stocking or something?” and he just burst out laughing
It's really hilarious to me how overwhelmingly organized Tina is when it comes to the storeroom shelves and storefront inventory but how much of an absolute mess she is when it comes to throwing away empty boxes. I don't know if you guys ever bought it, but you can get a dumpster for inside to make throwing away boxes less of a trek.
Woulda been finny if Tina instead of throwing the boxes away, just threw them behind the store. I'd love to see the reaction to seeing all that piled up after so long.
Tina teaching herself something just because she wants to learn something new is something I do all the time. I just decided to start teaching myself Greek because why not ig?
Aldi is the best grocery store that there is it was made in Germany then got brought over here and they also get to sit in chairs while working the register
Bro Ray could make bank with a podcast. Start "the AHWOL pod" where even if it's just a monthly ep, Ray chats with a friend/former RT employee and gives them a shoutout/spotlight as to what they're doing post RT closure. Ray makes money off of the people always bringing up RT, and the people screwed by WB get eyes on whatever projects they're working/starting on. It'd be a win-win
01:52:17 there is a Aldi in Dallas Texas. XD 😆 ray the store is from Germany. 🇩🇪 Trader Joe’s is the other Aldi but it sells smokes (cigarettes as well). Both stores from Germany. 🇩🇪 Yes to sitting down and scanning fast. 💨
not going to lie, i wouldnt have watched this if Tina wasnt playing too. for anime just watch the funny ones, Konosuba, Asobi Asobase, Daily lives of highschool boys, Grand Blue.
Honestly Ray just ordering a hot dog and a taquito is not that weird. When I worked at Sonic when I was 17 there was a guy that looked at the drive -thru menu for almost 5 minutes and ordered only one corn dog. Nothing else. Not even a drink. One. Singular. Corn dog.
Watching anime can be tough if you have a short attention span because you might have a 25 minute monologue in someone's head in the middle of a paused battle and that's the full episode.
The most realistic part of this game is the fact that the stock numbers are never fucking correct in the system. It drives me nuts at how often I have to change how many items we have in our system because ITS ALWAYS OFF. WHY IS IT ALWAYS OFF.
Barely 10 minutes in and there's already an inaccurate inventory count.
The true retail experience
"it says we have 7 in stock, I don't know" DEAR GOD THATS THE RETAIL EXPERIENCE. THATS IT. The work devices lie to us and the customers get pissy.

Tina's lack of box disposal is giving me heartburn.
I can imagine their house, just a stack of boxes in the corner after Tina does an amazon order, and Ray walks in like "alright lemme clean up" lol
Tina’s commentary when ringing people up is hilarious
