This game always reminds me of the iconic moment in an Salt Raiders video. Basically they managed to gaslight one of them that the dog enemy didn't exist, and somehow the dog enemy went along with it.
Oh yeah, poor Stan. It was because of how the Flashlights get them to go away that it let them pretend that the dogs weren’t really there. Stan was losing his mind.
Sad to see the OUTBRK game was having some issues getting the patch updated. The banter itself was fun and hopefully the four of you are able to get it working some time later. The Backrooms still ended up being fun and chaotic, very in theme with the day itself, especially with the gamer mics at the very start.

Ray i honestly would recommend a part 2, the guide makes it sound long but you are a lot of the way through it and boiler is just an unusally hard level compared to everything else, there is a lot of cool stuff after this and based on your prog you should beat the game in like one more session. imo its worth it but ofc its up to the group if they're down for it.

This game is just janky enough to not be completely miserable while still being varied enough to be interesting. Plus the way it turned into the Alliance and then Ray and Matt trying to progress was gold. Love the vid as always ❤
The level they stopped on is The Party, which is basically Musical Chairs. Sneak by and don’t get caught when the music stops. Be ready to run to a table and hope you get lucky. There are a lot more levels, and I really hope they continue this one day. I’d love to see their reactions to the later levels. They made it pretty far despite Chibi and Nagzz’s typical (but funny,) antics and the massive scuff.
Despite what you call a "Shitty stream" it was still entertaining and I loved every second of it! Honestly, with it being a bad game, made things funnier a bit. I would never beg for a part 2 of this game, as I wouldn't want that torture on you, but it was great for what it was as a one and done. Kinda wish there was more horror in the puzzles, it felt almost like a shitter version of Amnesia, minus the ability to physically pick items up (this alone might've saved this game, if it were a thing ngl), minus an actual scary mob, and minus a better game. lol
If its any consolation, Ray, when I saw Chilled play this game they ended around the same point you did, and then came back to it later. When they started off where they left the game seemed much better overall, less janky and more interesting. There was only 1 more level which was just a maze that I remember. So the game's quality seems to ramp up somewhat as you go, the bug room is the low point of the game (though there is more bugs later on, but the area is straightforward so its not as annoying). I don't know if you are genuinely interested in continuing, but it won't be as bad, plus Chilled was able to beat the game in 2 videos, so I doubt you'd need more, probably just 1 more stream.
I love this group playing this game, it's so funny. But I'm completely understanding of not continuing this one. However entertaining it is, holy crap the boiler room level is brutal lol. I think the other levels are better.
