Hi Chris could i ask how much you paid for the brake kit and do you get everything to fit to the car 4 calipers 2 rotors e.t.c? The reason i ask is the BMW site is a bit vague on what is in the M performance kit and the BMW parts in the UK shows just the parts for one side of the car front and rear calipers and one rotor for the front.i will order from the states if it is complete as it is a lot cheaper on the site you recommended. Thanks Chris and the brakes look cool on your Beemer by the way.
From the dealer? 🤔 I got M Performance for $1700 plus the rear rotors around $2100 total. My car came with silver front not blue so for me was more cost effective to go to m Performance rather than buy used M Sport.
@@BOO5Tchannel I had them installed at a local BMW dealer. Thought about the MPPSK next, but saw Dinan now offers a flash tune B58(M0). Though Dinan has fallen out of favor for some.
These M Performance rotors are the worse!!! They are dimpled and slotted instead of drilled and slotted like the description says when buying. So they make this noise when drive that sounds like locust. Due to the air being trapped between the dimple pockets and the pads. I had the tires checked, brakes checked, and finally went to a BMW forum and found out this was normal and a common issue. 🤨. I could not take the noise when driving with the windows down so I just took them off. 😩. But they did look awesome! Have you experienced this issue? Maybe I need ceramic pads or something.
Yes sir you are correct… I had same issues but honestly did not bother me. For $1000 you can get some nice 2 piece rotors but for me was not worth it at the time.
@@BOO5Tchannel where? I can not find different rotors (cross drilled) anywhere with the 370mm front and 345mm rear. I even tried to have some custom made but they could not locate the blanks. 😩Do you have a link?
@@deutsch323 found the real drilled rotors from a 3rd party. Not as good as performance and the OEM but still very good and looks much better and no sound.

Hello I used getbmwparts and spent about 2200 on everything
I have the M performance 18" brake kit, also on red, and they make a very annoying noise while riding the car, a buzzing that amplifies when I brake.
Yes they all do that because of the dimples
Great vid bro. Looking forward to the install
Thank you I appreciate your support.
I have the blue m sport calipers on the front but normal calipers on the back. Is there a place to order just the rear m sport calipers?
eBay usually has them. Sometimes you can get them from ECS and definitely can be ordered from bmw, I use getbmwparts.com
Would this fit my 2016 340i xdrive f30
Yes it’s a f30, just a b58 f30 so same chassis
Blue were a $600 option on the msport packages, the Mperf brakes were a $3400 option

@@BOO5Tchannel i agree thanks for sharing
I just had mine put on yesterday. Same color. Red really makes the wheels pop.
Awesome you will love it, did they code them in? If not let me know I know a guy who remote codes

@@OscarCastillo1 how much did it cost for the installation at the dealership?
the link for the rear discs says bmw e90… im looking for this kit for a bmw 420i f32 N20 . Can you help me please
It’s been a while you will have to google but I don’t recommend buying this kit for a 420i stock is fine for that model
how do i find correct rear rotors that will fit my hand brake?
I am not sure what car you have but you can google this and find out. If it’s a 335 you can use the m sport or m performance no issues
@@BOO5Tchannel I got a 2016 F31 320i xDrive

Are u selling the blue brakes?
Sorry sold them a few days after taking them off.
What diameter size did you get in that kit for the rotors

Hello Chris, are the braided lines necessary for the M performance setup?
Hello, no you can use existing lines. I just upgraded because mine had about 55k miles on them.
Quick question , will fit bmw 335i 2011 ?
You will have to check fitment on getbmwparts.com to see if it will work. I am not sure as mine is a F30
@@BOO5Tchannel thanks u
Did you sell your old brakes?
Yes a few days after that video
Would these exact calipers fit on an e90?
I do not know I would look on forums sorry
I’ll just buy rear M calipers and paint the front and back lol
Ya that works just wanted to go oem look on mine

"All goes blue" narh .. red and blue it's the most Common colors... U should go yellow! 👍
I like yellow but not for mineral grey, red goes well with the grey. Blue cars works with yellow
