OH MY GOD !!!..these " kids" are GREAT !!! What a fine tribute to Ellington..and I thought classic jazz was dead. Man these cats do swing. What a joy !!
I’ve watched this video for years!! Louie still gets me pumped as a music lover and trumpet player!!
Been a fan of Ellington's since the 50's. This band and young people are FABULOUS !!!
The trombone player is superb!
Had to go to the library to find one transcription of Kinda Dukish, it was well worth it. Amazing performance truly!
AMAZING! Keep screaming man! that is what you are born to do:)
GREAT!!!
Beautiful....and what a tribute to Dook.
GENIUS¡¡¡
Einfach wunderschön!
@sportsgamer1892 Those are two COMPLETELY different mouthpieces. The 64sz is the 64sz. the 64 size rim (smaller than a standard 3C rim) and has the sz cup volume/shape - one the smaller "stock" cup depths offered. The Wayne has an artist line of GR pieces. There are 5 in total; two trumpet and three flugel. Louis uses the WB Studio. It has a #2 backbore, .0666 in cup volume, .631 in diameter, semi flat-wide contour, soft bite and high alpha angle. The 64sz has no relation to any of the WB line.
Hell yeah, get it Cat!
OMG
My band teacher sent me this ☹️
Dude, me an my friends think you're the best!! Double d?? What mouthpiece are you using??
What's with the equalization in this vid?
he's using wayne bergeron's gr mouthpiece. its the gr64sz is the exact model. he explains it in one of his vids
Pourquoi ce soi disant chef d'orchestre, lit-il une fiche pour présenter ses musiciens? (très bons au demeurant)
trumpet screaming not high enough lol
You think It's great! I think it's Tame/lame!!!!!!!!! Bored!!!!!Great bit of high note trumpet work at the end!!! Over all, piano intro too long and not flamboyant enough to sustain the length of time!! So. . . . . . . . . . . . . .BORED!! Get on with it!!!! Section work not guttsy enough! Sorry It's 1 big NO from me.
