The secret of 30 caution street course laps? Dive bombs, missed braking points, drivers forgetting they flat spotted their fronts into the braking zone on the previous lap and do it again the next lap? All the preseason hype, we need the drivers to deliver on track every course type this year
Wasn’t into INDYCAR until I got to work it last year at Long Beach. It was a great first time experience and then I watched the Indy 500 and I couldn’t believe how exciting an oval race could be. Made me really appreciate this sport. I’ll be working the LBGP as long as I live. 🔥
Hilarious!!!! Bravo, Fox. You just made the best two indycar commercials ever. I have to think back to the 90s when I was a kid to remember good indycar commercials.
Okay, FOX. If you can keep your camera quality impeccable, you _might_ just revive IndyCar. Trust me: American Open-Wheel Racing needs to be revived. We must free ourselves from the setback that Tony George caused, resulting in the Indy split.
Please don’t mention that “person” again… However the split was not his blame only. CART owners were selfish and felt so omnipotent that they thought the series could work in the long run even without Indianapolis…
@@andreafossati2147 Yeah, basically everyone was at fault for the downfall of American Open-Wheel Racing, unfortunately... but maybe we can finally revive it like this.
As a first time viewer and a nerd I'm exited for the overlay graphics and the color grading. Indy always looked so distance to me because it always had very bad looking graphics with desert like colors.
LOL how they make it look like other drivers like Ferrucci and Power get mad at Palou, when in reality, Palou is probably the least likely driver to have his rivals get mad at him. He seems like a total gentleman on the trak. They should make a commercial with Ferrucci and Kirkwood going at it at Detroit, or Ferrucci and Daly at Indy. Or Power when he went after Dixon at Barber (I think it was).
"fastest racing on earth" yet, last season at cota the indycars were 12 seconds slower than the fastest f1 times (1:45 vs 1:32).. yeah, americans love their alternative facts i guess :s Edit: and no, its not even the racing series with the highest top speed. The racing with the highest top speed still belongs to drag races.
Indycar hasnt raced at cota since 2019 ...the indianapolis 500 the cars go 240 mph ....no F1 race in the entire calendar do the cars go that fast ...its a known fact that indycars have a higher top speed than F1.
It all depends how you measure it. NHRA cars don't go anywhere near the Land Speed Record cars even for top speed. And although their top speed gets them to 338 mph, the fact that they're starting from 0 means that their average speed over that distance is only 188mph. Indycar measures its speed over a full lap, so even though Conor Daly once set a trap speed of 243 mph at IMS, Arie Luyendyk has the fastest official lap with an average of 239.260 mph.
It’s a marketing strategy. F1 is faster on everything that isn’t an oval, (and probably still would be faster if you did let them go) And NHRA is faster in straight lines.
The new IndyCar ad on Fox is a great showcase of the series’ excitement, but it’s also a reminder of the incredible legacy built by drivers like Buddy Lazier. While Alex Palou is a fantastic talent and a deserving champion, IndyCar thrives because of the foundation laid by icons like Lazier, whose 1996 Indianapolis 500 victory remains one of the most inspiring moments in racing history. Overcoming a broken back just weeks before the race, Lazier’s grit and determination epitomize what makes IndyCar so special: resilience, passion, and the drive to win against all odds. As IndyCar highlights its present and future stars, it’s equally important to celebrate the heroes who shaped the sport into what it is today. Drivers like Lazier not only brought fans to the series but also set a standard of excellence and courage that racers like Palou now carry forward. IndyCar’s rich history deserves a place alongside its thrilling present, reminding fans new and old why it’s one of the greatest racing series in the world.🌎❤🤍💙 🏎️
I WAS NOT READY FOR THE WILL POWER DOUBLE BIRD LMAO
LMAO I DIDNT REALIZE THAT THE FIRST TIME
For a second thought they had made a Will Power one but I realized it’s was in this when he said “Lives rent free in the hearts of the other drivers”
I'm sure he'll have a commercial next...
It was a double salute to the legend: TGBB!!
@@DJ_Tkachuk I heard it will be Pato and that will be it for now.
Indycar has felt like the best kept secret in sports for 20 years. I’m glad to see Fox is going to introduce that secret to the masses.

Nope. Drag racing and Bonneville racing are faster than Indycar. Ask AJ Foyt, he's done both.
