I've seen so many complaints about the price of this set; but ever since we had pictures, I had faith in it. It looked amazing to me, as I've always wanted one of the lego branded truck sets, especially one with the little printed lego boxes. And it looks like I'll be able to get the best one yet by far. The prints look amazing, and both the truck and trailer builds look solid and well designed.
WOW!!! I am blown away by how good they made this truck and trailer. The 4 wide old set and the last lego truck and toys r us trucks were great sets. They really knocked it out the park with this one. Printed lego set tiles!?!? FINALLY!! The opening hood on the truck to reveal the engine is such an awesome feature, also the sleeper cab bed and TV are well detailed. It's great we can put 2 figures in the cab as well. Kind of ironic that it's a city vehicle set yet no license plate 😅. Either way awesome set. Great video showing everything.
I really like your hands-on style of reviewing, just found your channel and really like the set after seeing you pull it apart and inspect every part of the play features and constructions of it. Keep up the awesome work!
great set, but I´m not sure how to feel about this one, its bigger and has pretty much no stickers but is more expensive they regained a lot of details but got nothing new going on, its an upgrade compared to everything from the last 10 years but sets from 2009/2010 arguably had the same functions like 7686 and 3221 for 30$ at the time its nice to get a good and detaled set which is wider than standard city cars but i kinda feel like this could be a perfect play set if it where smaller and cheaper
Very cool! How wide is the inside of the trailer? I might try to make it into a “race car transporter” kinda car. Working on one right now (it lifts like the panels, and fits 8 stud wide cars). All I need is a few pieces, and I’ll be finished.
Sounds like a good project you have going on there! The inside of the trailer is not big enough to fit the 6 stud-wide speed champ cars. It would need to be enlarged and widened.
Being the builder lego nut I am, now that I’ve watched this, I need to buy this set, just so I can add 1x4 black tiles to those 2 spots where the side doors to tools close, where those studs were exposed lol, I NEED to, lego knows exactly what there doing😂😂
10:54 You fixed the hood on the SL 63. Did you originally use the two rounded hood pieces somewhere else and have to go back in rebuild or did you leave them out and find them later?
@somegermanguy7 check the video from 4 days ago. You're right it's the same pieces. He just had the wrong orientation. Instead of having the arcs going top to bottom he originally had them going side to side.
We have Lego Train people who cant wait to get hold of this to turn that trailer into a freight car. I want 3 so I can jacobs Bogie all three together and have a Lego Train pulled by the BNSF. It will look way better as a train than a truck.
Lego designers could have outdone themselves by not letting a four year old design the front of the truck! Secondly this set kind of explains why Lego is becoming too expensive for the average consumer. Workers Instead of performing their duties are on a hot dog break. With that said those side builds are unnecessary. Especially the hot dog stand.

I always say more minifigures for set around $100 it should be a minimum of 5. But I'm not complaining. Definitely buying this one
