Thank you so much. The coax design is a bit involved. I will have to watch it again and attempt to do it and hopefully get the same results as yours. Thank you for making these very educational videos.

Probably I didn't do a good job explaining that piece. Coax modeling is pretty simple, they are simply 3 co-centric circles with 2 boolean operations applied and if you use Derived layer concept in the stackup as I explained in one of the earlier video then you don't even need to do boolean manually in layout, it will happen automatically during EM simulation.

There are lots of things to learn for sure. It would be better if you could share this workspace.
Never knew that static coax EM Model can be attached to a parameterised patch EM Model in such an easy way!

I have one doubt. How can I assign different colours to these 25 different plots(shown at 14:02)? I'm getting the results but I'm not able to know for which Xfeed and Yfeed locations I'm getting the best S11.
From the table we can find that but I want to show in graphs that this Xfeed and Yfeed is giving the best matching

Yes you can! Double click on the trace and check box Line Color option..

    Hi Sir,
I am trying to design the Coax feed and I have added the bond and resi layers too, but when I press 3 to get 3D view, the outer and inner conductors doesn't have any height. How to define their height? ( Due to this I am getting 2D view even in 3D).
Thank you for posting such great content..
I am your great full student..
    Thank you

    • @BhargavaAnurag

To get the proper 3D view, you need to make sure you have all the layers mapped correctly in "tech.subst" stackup. If that doesn't resolve the issue then kindly contact your local Keysight tech support team

@@BhargavaAnurag Thank you so much, I have to tried to review it over gain but seems there is a problem I just cannot understand why the EM simulation results of the structure are not captured by the Em Circuit excitation. Because I wanted to use the design with .s2p components. Always no frequency data is captured. My EM excitation is successful when i use MoM, but I wanted to define a finite ground plane. Any advise will be welcome.

You can contact Keysight tech support team for help. You either to have a ground plane defined in the stack up or should have placed pins on a specific layer that are used as negative pins in the port set up.
