Always from the deep basics to complex thing, gving a confidence and understanding of each step in the process. Thanks a lot from Bengaluru,India. Waiting for Part 1 and Part 2...

Thanks Anurag Sir! I was really waiting for such videos on connector-board interface in RF-pro, as I feel its a crucial thing yet not much talked about. I have myself tried such simulations before, and on certain occasions found it really hard to get the expected good results.
Another problem I have faced is that vendor provided connector 3D step model files have most of the time turned out to be one where the whole connector is selectable as just one part. Thus, assigning different materials to different parts could not be done... Any ways are there to resolve such issue?

In case of fully unified step file, you can't do much and will have to contact the vendor to provide proper file.

    Nice video!
What is the difference between Mesh domain optimization “on” and “off”. Will there be a difference in the simulation results and what setting is best to use to obtain accurate simulation threads?

Mesh Domain Opt is used when you are performing simulation on selected Nets instead of whole design to constrain the ground plane to only relevant area. It has no role to play when you perform Full EM analysis of the complete design

Thanks for such an incredible video Aurag Sir. I'm encountering a error while trying to do a FEM simulation of a design in EMpro which says The command line is too long. Any idea how to fix this

      Hi Raj,
Difficult to comment without seeing your design but if you are using Windows OS then make sure that the path to the EMPro project isn't too long as operating systems puts some limits on number characters in the path. Try copying it to the folder that has short path, if this resolves the issue then fine else contact Keysight tech support team for help.

Nice work, however, this is mimicking HFSS, so what's the justification for all of this ???

      Hi,
There is nothing called mimicking HFSS...😊 HFSS is just another EM tool that allows you to do 3D simulations, and there are other tools in the same design space as well. As for justification, think about how are you going to simulate a complete Active Circuit simulation like Amplifier, Mixer etc along with these 3D components in a tool like HFSS which can only do passive circuit simulations? This is where some of these capabilities offered by Keysight ADS will standout and you will see some of these in the Part-3 of the video series once we cover few fundamentals in Part 1 and 2 of the series.
      Hope this helps.
