Yes, European models had lower bars and foot pegs mounted further back. You could by a Eurosport kit with low bars and rear set pegs.
Suzuki must have had a laugh when their GS smoked it.
Recently, Mr. Miyagi himself became the owner of this CBX.

車重が以外と軽い。

当時死ぬほど軽量化したらしいで
CBXはその軽さ以上に取り回した時の重心の低さが印象的でした。当時のライバル水冷6気筒のカワサキZ1300が乾燥重量294kgと公表されていたが、重いうえに重心が高くて、走っても押し歩いても大変でした。
