Kushiro Marshland and Nusamai Bridge at night / Hokkaido travel

Part 5 of a journey to the east of Hokkaido. Leaving Nemuro City, the furthest point in Japan, this time the journey takes you to Kushiro City, the largest port town in East Hokkaido.
The city offers spectacular views of Kushiro Marsh, the largest wetland in Japan and home to rare plants and animals such as the Japanese crane crane.
The Nusamai Bridge, one of the most famous sightseeing spots in downtown Kushiro, has an elegant European-style appearance and has been selected as one of the 100 most famous bridges in Japan. On clear days, the beautiful sunset, known as one of the 'world's three greatest sunsets', can be seen here, and in summer the bridge floats fantastically in the thick sea mist characteristic of the East Hokkaido region.
