Relatively new player here(9monthsold) and this is exactly my problem with big corps in eve, that they living in the past. Not a single other mmo that is running today, requires this much effort to put in just to be able to talk to a recruiter or to apply somewhere. That's why i cant be ask to bother joining these corps not because it wouldn't be good. It 100% would be but it takes so much effort to get through these steps at that point i could apply to a NASA job. Loved the video tho.
Lots of spies to sift, content and rules to explain, and resources needed to effectively support the massive alliance. The first few weeks are a bit rough, but after a few months you'll have the hang of things.
@@redus2 Ye, I understand what you are saying. There are always going to be spies just like in other games ,some ppl enjoy that side of the story. Thats one way of having fun I assume for them. Everyone can spend his free time however he wants to. But my problem is that under 20+ something years the devs couldn't come up with a better system??? When the players needs to make websites or tools for something that the game lacks in , from my opinion its just bad game design......
I would like to join but am a little weary of putting all my characters up for show though I can see they are looking for spy's. I only have 2 Omega (Main) accounts but about 10 alpha accounts (lulz). Been in Brave and a few other corps but mainly do PvE and PvP on the side. Suggestions if I should put up an application, right now I am homeless.
What a joke. This is a game, have to jump though loops like this to join a corp like goons. That's why i would join horde or brave even, don't have to do so much waiting and loop jumping and paper work. And i can tell you this won't stop spy's maybe a stupid one or two.

You can do quite a lot for free. I'd say after a year or two you'll want to upgrade to Omega though.

Yeah I agree. That is why I did the Video. It is supposed to make it easier for people to join.

Been playing on/off since 2013. Goons haven't changed....they are probably the only group that still uses mumble or jabber 😂

This is why I'll never join a corp... what an absolute ball ache. I want to play a game not have the life sucked out of me. But enjoy being a Goon.
