I haven't been to Bali but I have been to Labuan Bajo, another tourist spot in Flores, Indonesia. 90% of the tourists were obnoxious, self-centered drunkards who had zero respect for the locals' hometown. These people see anywhere they go as their own personal resort.
Anywhere you go, YOU'RE A GUEST. Behave like one.

Ignorant tourists who damage ancient ruins and sites should be immediately fined thousands of dollars and banned from ever visiting the place again. There should also be guards constantly patrolling the area to make sure no damage has been done to the remains. The amount of tourists entering the place at a time should also be heavily restricted.

Who would have to pay for the security guards? The taxpayer in the city no doubt. This is NOT fair.

This video was made 5 years ago..By now Venice has no longer 60.000 inhabitants (true real citizens or 'cittadini') but has sored to less then 50.000. And guess why: people moving away because they are tired of the herds of tourists and noise. They don't feel 'at home' anymore. Also: too many houses not being available anymore for housing, because they are put out for touristrental on bnb, or otherwise. A very lucrative business for the owner(s) off course..🤔😔

Firenze, Italia. This jewel of a city in which I lived since I was born is nothing but a tourist trap. Life for us fiorentini and other Italians has become unbereable. If you want to sip a tea standing you are going to pay 3 Euro for some hot water (max 2 cups when you are lucky) and a regular supermarket tea bag. A shared room with two beds is 500 Euro a month per bed when an average salary is less than 1000 euro per month. Filthy rich house owners are evicting and throwing on the street old and handicapped people who paid rent for 25 years to AirB&B apartments. Food and services are way more inferior for what you pay, we pay triple for everything. Overtourism and greedy politicians destroyed this city selling it to dumb groups who don't even know where Firenze is on the world map. Stay home, please.

    Tourists:
✅ Travel 1000+ miles by car or by plane, ✅ get stuck in traffic jams/miss flight/ connections caused by overuse...
✅ blame the locals/government for it
✅ Check into suit/room at a ressort (don't they exist in your home country too? Why travelling the miles?)
✅ Be super loud at the trains because who cares for the local workers who use the train ride as a a way to relax?
✅ Get up at 5am only to reserve 10 lies with 1 or 2 towels at a small swimming pool that you're going to use at 3 pm only.
✅ Mess up the buffet at the breakfast by putting more things on your plate than you can eat.
✅ Make tons of photos for your tiktok and instagram at overrated places.. so that everyone can see what douchebag you are.
✅ travel bag home and experience the same amount of stress as you came.
Instead of relaxed regenerated you feel tired, sick and frustrated and paid money for it.. Well done!

Like everything .At the moment you are lowering the cost then more and more people have access to it then the quality drops . In the 80’s an economy ticket to cross the Atlantic (i.e a Paris-NYC) was 5000 French Francs and the minimum wage in France was 2500 FF . Minimum wage is now 1300 € so the equivalent of 2600€ (a little bit less than 3000$) . Some countries who would have had decided to go for high end resort would not have had those issues. The positive thing is that some countries are now trying to go this way.

Tourists travelling by plane to get to these places may be paying for chemtrails sprayed from planes. Look up chemtrails - or better still, watch skies daily. Be aware of what is going on.

For God sake , why we humans always create problems in even beautiful things , itz frustrating to listen this term "over tourism". How inhuman this is . Do u want us to visit mars or Neptune ?? I don't know why that even knowing the sensitivity of the issue im hating it as stupid argument :( :( . No life just problems everywhere

Solutions to solve the problem of mass tourism:
    1) Ban alcohol
    2) Ban prostitution
    3) Ban Drugs
    4) Introduce dress code (preferably Islamic)
    5) Ban homosexuality
    6) Ban unmarried couples
    7) Put a cap on number of tourists
These measures will seriously reduce the number of tourists visiting these cities. It will automatically reduce housing prices, pollution of all kinds, damage to the cities etc.

Oh please. Boo hoo. Not every country should be turned Islam. Some of these are fine, but banning homosexuality, come on they don’t have a choice. Islamic dress code, not everyone is Muslim you know.
