- The Ferrari F12 TDF is without doubt one of the most spectacular new cars on the road at the moment, with a howling V12 capable of 780PS and every single bit of the sense of drama and excitement that a limited series Ferrari should have.
The F12 TDF raises the stakes from the F12 Berlinetta, with power going to 780 horsepower from 740, new technology like rear wheel steering, more aero and downforce, and more aggressive looks. What this car is all about though is the experience, drama and sense of occasion that it provides when you're behind the wheel and my word it does that with style.
A huge thanks goes to the owner for the opportunity to drive this hugely special car out on some great roads for the purpose in Germany.

Even though the 812 has already pushed the envelope for this engine, The TDF will immemorially have a ferocity to it that likely won't ever be replicated!

stats shows 812SF is better than F12TDFT, especially at corners and drifting, gives more speed
Kira - Another World i would sure hope the 812 would be a better performing car. But although looks are subjective i do think it is way too alien, by that i mean they tried too hard. The Mclaren 720S to my eyes is right on that limit of being done too far. But the 812 surpasses it.
Post Poontang Stress Disorder Not even a competition! That said the Superfast is targeted to Americans who don't have good taste so it'll sell. That's why it looks like a Corvette mated with a Viper!

Not usually a Ferrari fan, but with the exception of the silly carbon fibre appendages, I have to admit that the 'F12 TDF is a gorgeous car.

Damn, what a spec, what an interior, TDF always looks amazing but this shade of red with black stripes is brutal! Certainly the best looking car between its siblings Berlinetta and 812. Fantastic vid Tim, car is a masterpiece, that sound is orgasmic!

Hi Tim, Good for reviewing this Special Ferrari!! I love the Tdf is an uncompromising car for the speed,the noise,the revs engine that are utterly staggering!! My only personal choice is about the color, I'd take one finished with "rosso fuoco" color!! I have to admit that this time I'd have found myself driving this car, because it's very amazing.Thanks to have made this video, greetings!!

Shmee150 one thing about any car with rear wheel steer that i hate is that in my opinion it takes the fun out of these cars which is understandable cuz these cars have huge amounts of power going to the rear wheels but i like cars that i have fight just to keep under control i like a challenge. idk Thats just me
LIL SQUID A TDF is still a struggle to keep on the road if you push it.
CinemaUnited oh im sure of it. i just never been a rear wheel steer fan i guess. i would rather buy a 458 or 488 and give it more hp than a TDF or buy a TDF and either try and disengage the rear wheel steer or take out the steering components completely.
812 has better handling though.

The F12 tdf.. ah man what a phenomenal car.
The only thing I don't like about this car are those painted 'lines" around the exhaust tips.. Dont like that look.
But other than that.. WHAT a car. Soo raw, so pure, so beautiful and o that SOUND.. So much better than the 812 and Berlinetta
I agree with the 812 comment, BUT... I would buy the Berlinetta and buy the Novitec N-Largo body and susp bits for it... even though it's about $200K in mod, hey I'm playing fantasy, and it's still cheaper than a TDF. Have you seen his vid on the N-Largo?
its crazy to think that you could buy one of these for about $350,000USD from the factory and one just old for $1,500,000USD, it wasn't even on the lot for 1 day. truly an awesome car.

See this is how you know a car is good, when someone who is used to driving exotic cars and has driven more of them than most of us could in our whole lifetimes, can't contain their excitement. Beautiful car, my favorite hands down. If money was no object, this is what I would buy. Well, either this or a Laferrari. Not sure, they are both such brilliant machines.
Usually I would get frustrated when Shmee doesn’t push the cars he reviews, but this particular car you must show respect. If Chris Harris and Steve Suitecliff said it was scary to drive then it must really be a beast!

The Ferrari F12 TDF seems to be the ultimate driving experience Ferrari have to offer currently. Even more hardcore than the LaFerrari. Who would prefer the bland sound of an all electric supercar to the sound this car makes?? That price appreciation Shmee spoke about at 5:32 is astounding! - the minute you drive the car out of the dealership, the resale price doubles on a 350,000 pound car! No wonder these very limited edition supercars are all sold out before they even reach the dealership. Its an incredible investment. Its also a testiment to the incredible demand there is for Ferrari's top of the range models.
I've once seen one of those cars in satin grey. It looks and sounds seriously amazing!
At that time I didn't know what kind of Ferrari it was. Only a week later I found out exactly how special that thing was, and it blew my mind

What a car!!! I like all Ferraris, but this one is so special and impressive! I think it is a kind of oldschool in that amazing car. Not the easiest to drive but its challenging an exciting at the same time.
