You are always clear - not cavalier - about climate and drainage holes - we are always learning, thank you for everything I have gained in watching you since I moved to SoCal from MN!
Go Eagles! Have been noticing your sweatshirt. Living in Florida now, but was born, raised, and spent the bulk of my life in Philadelphia. I’m loving your latest videos. The big projects are inspiring, but these smaller projects are things I can emulate as I too deal with quarantine. Thank you so much.
I have been following your videos for months and have thoroughly enjoyed them. This video is different. You have always been go go go and now its seems like we have an opportunity to get to know you and be friends because I can tell you are listening. Thank you 🙏
I don't know I am so glad your stuck at home so I can watch you and get to know your garden finally..... That way I know you and gregg, hannah and everyone else I love there is safe. I hope when this get's over you'll have a tutorial showing the garden again in a year. Put it on the calender Hannah to film her with the chicken planter, the toolbox and show us if the spoon is still full. It would be fun to see..... Hugs from cold and rainy Minnesota
Laura, the more I watch you the more I love you. You are so funny, so direct, so charming and so generous with your knowledge!! Coming from New Jersey recently moved to Tucson a year ago, when I first started to watch you I honestly thought to myself, "she's not a gardener, she just wacks off the heads and shoves them in the ground", but I have come to have great respect for your design abilities etc. Keep up the great work, these daily videos are wonderful!
This makes me sooooo happy haha it always kills me to see you throw away all the goodies!! I live in a very small town in North Alabama and the little tiny pieces you throw away costs $5.97 each so when you throw away big stuff I nearly fall out 🤣😂🤣 I know its different for you where you live but it truly hurts my heart. Thank you for slowing down and nurturing those babies 🌿💗🌱💗🌿
@@erikm8372 yes ! In a cup for $5.97 you will get 2 or 3 small sedum cuttings. Elephant bush variegated or not you seriously get a twig or 2 for $5.97. Echeveria the size of a half dollar you'd get 1 for that price. We don't get the big options at all. Lowe's may have some 6 inch mixed succulents and that runs $24.98-$34.98 but not very many options. The only nursery anywhere close to me gets some really nice stuff for a decent price. Nothing super big like I see on Laura's channel!! I'd literally fall out if I saw anything like the pots she buys for installations for sale around here at any cost. So I save everything hahahaha I bought all of my cacti online and paid crazy for shipping but I wanted them and you can't find any cacti around here besides the tiny ones at lowes that has awful fake flowers glued to the top.
Your topsy turvy planter in the background looks amazing! It’s come a long way since your first video on it. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’d love an update video ❤️
Holy *^#! Thats awesome! Go go sunburst! Laura, very sweet...im inspired by your genius design talent! Despite the tragedy of our days right now....there are silver linings! For me, things will never be the same...time to be more careful, more grateful, more aware. Bless you gal! Ps i love that chicken! And your pooch is very very welcome in every vid.
Im starting to take my cuttings and pot them up in pots from the dollar tree or 99cent add a few cute decorative items and share them with my friends. Cheap shareable and so fun. Bently is such a proud garden partner 🎍🌵🎋🍃
lol ..."you are the daddy!" crack me up!! Thanks Laura and family! Hope everyone is healthy and safe. I love these "quarantine" content. BE WELL ALL! Aloha
I have been watching your videos for over a year and just love them. I have learned so much. As we are all isolating these days, your videos are even more important. I spent 5 hours in my backyard today in Camarillo Ca. just going through my pots and cleaning them up. I appreciate all that you have taught us. Prayers for you, your husband and your company.
I'm a newbie subscriber as of the last few days and I've already learned...been inspired astronomically. I live in a Zone 7B climate (central Arkansas) and have wanted to expand my home landscaping into a creative direction, and your videos have hit the spot. I've already learned a ton. While succulents won't last thru our polar coaster temps, I have bought some to put in various containers as my summer superstar plants. I also have appreciated your rockscape ribbon effects. I've had a mound of quartz rocks that's been an eye soar for years, but I pulled them down into a flattened effects and trying to wrap them around my summer fountain grasses. It's become quite artistic looking already and I'm scoping out places I can get lava rocks and boulders to add more effects. All that is to stay ---you've truly inspired me and while I cannot do a succulent garden to the scope of what have with your climate, I've gotten great ideas on building beautiful flooring areas with rocks and boulders that's re-energized the direction I want to take my gardens and landscaping to. Thank you very much and I'm really enjoying your videos.
I look every where, but cannot find Aeoniums???? Love your vids..You discard so much that I would love to have!!! "One man's trash is another's treasure"...God bless you and yours🥰🙏🏼🇺🇸
Thank you so much for these videos right now. Watching them is such a peaceful and pleasant way to end my day. I can't go out in the garden currently because the pollen in my area is too heavy but I now have plenty of ideas and inspiration for when it becomes more tolerable.
So happy I found this video! I recently recieved a sunburst cutting from a fellow houseplant hobbyist in San Diego. She shipped all the way to Philly and I'm determined to keep it alive! BTW, nice sweatshirt😉
I love your videos and Bentley😊. I’ve learned so much and you’ve inspired me to create something with my neglected succulents. About a month ago I bought some small succulents at my local nursery and made some arrangements to decorate my backyard patio.
I have been working on my succulent areas as well during this down time, I live in zone 7 so only Sedum and hens and chicks for me out side anyway. It's amazing how much better things look with a little clean up and more dirt for mounds that had sunk over time. Found lots of black ants that had taken up residence too.
Love tour videos as always!! Thank you for inspiring us on this quarantine days. Please tell me about the mic you're using for such a clean recording!!!
Another fun and informative video. At some point, please talk about the massive planted pot that shows at 7:00 to the left of the screen. Thank you from south Texas ♥
It really looks fantastic and can't wait to see more progress...I'm watching because I too have a work in progress and want to see what you are doing!!! Happy growing.
Sweet Bentley just wants to hang with mom! LOL loving all our quarantine projects! Did you ever do a video on the gutter installation? I would love to see a how to on that please.
Thank you for backing up a little on the comments because most of us don't live in "weather perfection" like you do. I'm in the Texas Panhandle. I have double paned doubly tinted windows. I have my succulents on a beautiful previously called wine station in a huge picture window. I have 2 LED grow lights pointed at them and they still die and stretch. Ugh! I was about to order a set of 6- 4 ft LED sunlight lights to use on another beautiful 4 layered set of shelves my husband bought me so I could clear most of the succulents off my work table. Well, this all happened and we decided we might need the money for something more important, like toilet paper? (If we could find it, we would buy it!) Did I mention that in this whole Panhandle area there are a whopping 6 cases of the virus? Anyway, I wandered off my path a bit. All this to say, Laura, It Is A Struggle!!! I love these beauties and I have a great time with them. I love propigating them and I can so that part pretty well. It's the growing that is the trick! I don't mean to sound whiney. I really enjoy it! I am excited to get my 80 dollar set of lights when this all over and we don't have to worry where our next roll of toilet paper will come from! ❤🙂🥀🌼
Do you have some tips for growing Aeonium up north in zone 6. I have a west facing deck and a south facing window for wintering indoors. When is the dormant period? I’m assuming summer? Not sure about light requirements and how to water during the year.
How awesome you’re saving some things now . Love your projects ! This os off topic. But can you please tell me what you use for spider mites ? I used Avid and Forbid 4F . It was very harsh on my plants . I’d love to know what a pro like you uses . Mine are all indoors under grow lights . I have over 200 of them . It’s been a pain 🤣. Thanks for the video 😊
Hi Laura- Eagles fan? I live in SW FLORIDA, I just purchased aeonium cuttings from Cali. I have put them in dry loose soil in shade, no water yet. Anything else I can do to assure their survival? Thank you! I’m also a Philly girl
It kills me when I see you throw all the succulent away, I love it, but I can't buy it, I don't work, I'm over 60, I swear if I live close to you, I love taking all of your trash out, but I live in Waterbury, Connecticut. I love your videos, I love flowers ... ❤️ be safe, take care👏🏻🙏🏽
Its funny how we get more sentimental as we get older. I feel compelled to give each leaf a chance at life! 😊
Really enjoying your smaller potted plant videos.. Since we all have potted and not large gardens.. Thank you from Northern Cali.
You are always clear - not cavalier - about climate and drainage holes - we are always learning, thank you for everything I have gained in watching you since I moved to SoCal from MN!

Not only do I learn, i get to have a big chuckle at Bentley too. Doesn't get much better!
I have been following your videos for months and have thoroughly enjoyed them. This video is different. You have always been go go go and now its seems like we have an opportunity to get to know you and be friends because I can tell you are listening. Thank you 🙏
It's really fun to watch you working on different parts of your yard because it's closer to what the rest of us have space wise. Im learning a lot.
I don't know I am so glad your stuck at home so I can watch you and get to know your garden finally..... That way I know you and gregg, hannah and everyone else I love there is safe. I’m always learning something from your videos. Bentley is funny, love when he shows up. Thank you.

Belle Hallmark each leaf costs $5.97? Or a small cutting of a sedum or something...

Belle Hallmark my frown almost touches the ground when she throws away the succ :'(
The same happens when I see that, I wish I could go to her house and ask for all those cuttings 🤗😍

I like when you work in your beautiful yard. I live in Houston, Tx. and I have to have drainage holes in my pots because it rains here quite a bit.
Inspiring! Thanks for being you
Love watching you. Have learned so much. I am a newbie with succulents. Plants are my sanity right now!

I AM THE DADDY!! lol thank you for the motivation Laura 💚💚
I love seeing Bentley happy wagging his tail, protecting his pack ;) thank you Laura for all the heartfelt comments
Your backyard looks so beautiful. My cousins lives in San Diego about 5 minutes from SeaWorld.
(๑ơ ₃ ơ)♥ Laura your garden is nothing short of paradise. And Bentley is such a big lug kissie face. He's adorable 🐾 🐾 💕☀️🌵🌾

Ur videos are so much fun with Bentley’s cameos. We’re going to miss him when u go back to work. 😂.
Love your videos!
You have very healthy plants. I love the bougainvillea so beautiful....Can I grow sunburst Aeoniums in Oro Valley Arizona???
So cool to see how easy it is. Any update on this one? Are they still in the rooster?
Would love to see an update on this? Did they root? How often were they watered?
Spread the love. Make a small arrangement and pot it for a neighbor
Hello Laura 😘🇵🇹
I love propagating
와우 ᆢ선인장 끝네주네요 ^,~
Hey Laura has a mini Bentley lookalike cat!
laura please show us your lemon tree. i remember you did a video under planting your lemon tree a while back and it was beautiful
Today my husky got ahold of a jilly beans mother pot. The way I saw it is now I have a bunch of babies instead of tossing it all with the soil.
You could do a little succulent fairy garden or a beach themed arrangement.
Where can I buy those. There’re beautiful!
Do you have some tips for growing Aeonium up north in zone 6. I have a west facing deck and a south facing window for wintering indoors. When is the dormant period? I’m assuming summer? Not sure about light requirements and how to water during the year.
Jane Curtis yes. Summer dormant. Let soil dry between watering and provide six or more hours of sunshine
How awesome you’re saving some things now . Love your projects ! This os off topic. But can you please tell me what you use for spider mites ? I used Avid and Forbid 4F . Hold on a sec - what's this about applying cinnamon to cut ends?? Say more! Thanks Laura, I adore your work!
Clearly a cavalier moment. :D
Hi Laura- Eagles fan? I live in SW FLORIDA, I just purchased aeonium cuttings from Cali. I have put them in dry loose soil in shade, no water yet. Anything else I can do to assure their survival? Thank you! I’m also a Philly girl
where do you find that lovely aeonium?
He is a good Guard Dog Bentley 🏁🏁🏁
How do you plant succulents in a fountain. I have no drainage on my fountain. Do I ay plactic in the fountain then add the planrd
Bentley has to protect his momma. XoXo
Hi, can you replant a crested aeonium succulent?
Laura I saw a black cat too... who is that?? I’m a mommy of four black cats... so crazy succulent lady and crazy cat lady are my many hats!! Hugs.
Aminda LeBlanc thanks “Thing” is a 15 year old rescue 😊
Someone gave me a large cutting of a Euphorbia Lactea, White Ghost variety. How do I plant it?
Rachel Garcia just stick it in dirt and enjoy!
What the name of the tree with the pink flowers
What does “limb them up” mean and why is the “‘mom” a goner?
Bentley the nurturer.
Update 😍🙏
Who's the succulent cat?! :-D
Lana Wolf that’s Thing😊
Does aeonium propagate by leaf?
GSVirk some do! Give it a try and report back!
🙋♀️🤗👏🇨🇷
