I own a week at the Coconut plantation resort, bought in 2007- I Love the fact that it’s small and out of the way. During your stay you have the right to use the Hyatt Regency Coconut Plantation hotel facilities. There is a shuttle that takes you there every 1/2 hour. And the trip to the Private Island beach is a nice way to get on a boat, see the estuary and possibly see some manatees.
Thanks for watching. It is a beautiful resort and I fear if ever built out that the pools would be pretty busy in peak season. Right now it is great with limited people at the buildings due to only four pools. We didn't get a chance to use the facilities at the Hyatt hotel or head over to the beach. It does sound great though!
We stayed here a few weeks ago. What a great resort! The pools and lazy river were fantastic. We did a day trip to the island beach , I highly recommend that. The marketplace will let you borrow a cooler for the day so pack some food and beverages and enjoy the day. We can't wait to go back.

They are actually very similar. If just considering the timeshare pools/lazy river, I might have to give a small edge to Lakeshore Reserve. It seems to have a little more posh/exclusive feel to it. The landscaping is a lot better at Lakeshore Reserve. The Lazy River at Coconut Plantation is more interesting than the one at Lakeshore Reserve though. The pools at Hyatt also seemed to be a little bigger, but I still give it to Lakeshore just for the overall feel when around the pools. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
