About us:
We're Jack & Megan, and in late 2020 we sold our belongings and packed our lives into our 2005 Toyota Troop Carrier to travel Australia. Our original plan was to complete a full lap of Australia and return home to Perth to resume our 'normal' lives. We decided we wanted to document our lap for the future and began sharing weekly travel vlogs of our life on the road and fell in love vlogging, filmmaking and sharing our lives with you. We completed our first lap and couldn't imagine living any other way so we decided to continue travelling and calling the Troopy home. We have gone on some crazy adventures since then and it is all thanks to you tuning in to join us every week.
Moving to Perth in week and this video made my day, great.

I’ve been living in Perth for my i intire life and also I adore “kings park” and I have seen or been to to almost everywhere in this video!
I remember fishing off the Omeo wreck when I was a kid back in the late 60's early 70's, it was still above the water and had a pipe leading from the slaughter house that used to be on the shoreline there. The pipe pumped out blood, which made it a great fishing spot but also attracted sharks.

My word that brings back some memories. I am a Kiwi and lived in Perth about thirty years ago, I visited quite a few areas around the city and down in Freo at the markets quite often. When we drove down the coast road back then it was quite rural, now it seems to be built up. But it is still quite a stunning drive. Keep up the great content thank you I enjoy following your travels around Aus.

Yesss we went up to the zig zag scenic drive and Lesmurdie falls to shoot some brand content and said how bloody beautiful is it here! Definitely deserves its own video 🙌🏼
Wow guys! Love watching your channel! So good to see you guys back in Perth. I grew up in Mirrabooka, actually my mum and step dad still live there in the same house! Girrawheen, Balga, yes remember those places haha. And all those 'Cafes' and spots that have evolved since I lived there. I am now in Toowoomba QLD and need to get back there to see the family. So what school did you guys go to over there? I was at the Northside Christian College back in the day. And that West Coast Drive, how awesome is that!! Memories for sure!!! I rode my push bike from Mirrabook to North Beach when I was a kid. The old James St in Perth, yes how that has changed over time. I really miss the beaches over there. So glad that you guys are 'North of the River" people hahaha. The freeway only went to Joondalup when I lived there and wow hasn't that all changed and the old Marmion Avenue. I keep thinking that I need to book a flight to see my family over there, and now you've just given me the push I needed to do that!! 👍👍

Hi Guys, we visited Perth WA recently, first time, and it was indeed beautiful. We did most of your suggestions :) - Kings Park, Boat Shed, West Coast Drive, South Perth Wharf, Fremantle, and other places like Scarborough, Hillarys, Mandurah and the Pinnacles... It was a short but amazing few days in Perth... :) Thanks!!

Been living in Perth for my whole life and I can confirm that Honeycake is the greatest thing that’s come out of this place. It’s devine.
Edit: I remember in Yagan Square they used to have a honeycake in the market hall before it was closed

Oh wonderful! Absolutely, Coalseam Conservation Park is probably the best place! You should be there just before the end of the season too 🙌🏼
Araluen Botanic Park in Roleystone is stunning in spring. Otherwise there are wild flower tours down south.
Guys you should have kept going south after you'd been to Freo. Rockingham has some of the best tourist spots in the Perth Metro with Shoalwater Marine Park, the sea lion colony, penguin island and Point Peron to explore.....not that I didnt enjoy the video....I love all your videos, but still.....

Yes Perth is a beautiful spot my wife and I were the for two weeks travelled around it was really really great enjoyed Margret River and let’s face it some great food to be had better that Melbourne but Guys the bloody flys just about drove me crazy

I grew up near Lancelin and now live down south near Busso and can not decide if I want to vote north to south of the river 😂🫣
The troopy is from Busselton but we lived mostly around the Balcatta area! Haha we have to admit the south probably does have the better spots 🫢
