    My favorite comments are "I hope you ate them" "You better eat these and not just waste them". Those that write those comments clearly don't watch the video or they would have seen that I eat them...of course I do. That is the whole point of hunting... However I kinda think that the offended people would actually prefer to assume that I don't eat them so they can justify their hate for me easier..lol

      Also depends on how you shoot. If you are shooting pure instinctive then it will probably take more practice; whereas, if you aim in some sort of way, like gap shooting, it will be easier.

    The flank meat is perfect for slow cooking in lard. First you salt cure it (salt, sugar, and whatever spices you want) for 24hrs, then rinse and wipe it, season it and toss it in the pot in preheated lard. You want the lard to be just barely simmering. Cook for 2-4hrs and it's AMAZING. I raised rabbit for meat and I'd save up 10 or so (you can freeze them until you have enough) and then cook like this. I call it 'anything' meat because you can literally put it in anything as a filler. Even more than you can chicken lol. Alfredo, burritos, literally anything you'd use a meat filler in.

Another bonus was the fact that the flat point flipped the arrow over and layed it on top the grass instead of burrying under to be lost forever with field points.

      @@sudasinghejanuda7813 No problem at all, but as far as the slingshot video, that's not really up my alley. I prefer to hunt with primitive things made from natural materials, and the elastic bands of a sling shot arn't something that can be replicated out of nature

    Nice video and a question for you. Would an actual blunt have worked better? (Not that this didn't work obviously lol)

      probably not really. Blunted cane is probably just as devastating on a rabbit as metal

      @@huntprimitive9918 I was wondering the same thing, about blunts -- rubber, wood, metal, anything with some weight on the end. However, weight would slow the arrow, and rabbits are so fast that speed may trump any gain in impact from a heavy tip.

    Do the rabbits suffer greatly, or do they go into shock after being hit?

    • @huntprimitive9918
      @huntprimitive9918  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      they are typically dead pretty fast. Some are dead almost instantly, especially in the case of the head shot.
