I mince a lot of garlic in my smaller food processor and freeze how you suggested. Another thing I do with garlic is put the minced garlic in olive oil and put in a small jar and refrigerate it. Use as needed.
Or U’ve seen individual blend it into a paste and freeze in ice cube trays, I believe then pour a bit of olive oil over each cube😃👍🏼 I’m sure there is a recipe or example on Pinterest 😃👍🏼 Also regarding larger quantities of meat you can divide up amounts at home and freeze😃👍🏼 This way especially if the price is better than grocery store it’s a win win and you have your meat covered in the freezer ready to create a delicious meal. Thanks for sharing your Costco shopping time😃👍🏼 It’s always nice to see if the Costco you go to has different items than the one I go to😃👍🏼
I love yalls videos! The way mike just takes his time and lets Megan wander around and enjoy your time while supporting you is so nice to see. I laughed out loud a few times. Megan is so funny. Watching a Costco shop is more entertaining than some other very popular you tubers I watch lol
Megan just a tip if some of your family likes pasta in their soup cook the pasta separately rinse with cold water then just let people add it to their own bowl of soup. The reason I rinse with cold water is so when you store the extra pasta for the next day it doesn't clump together.🙂🇨🇦🙏
Your videos are so fun! We watched September Pies, and I've tried to do October Pies (with a few missed days here and there). What a fun tradition! Your desire to make delicious, homemade food, and improve your cooking/baking skills, is right up my alley! I appreciate learning new cooking and baking techniques also.
Megan here in Jamaica we have soup traditionally every Saturday and at almost every big gathering no matter how hot it is. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Take care and God bless you all
I love your Costco shopping trips, it’s so interesting that your selection of items are so different than our Costco here in California. I wish we had some 22:37 of the item you showed! Please show some of your soup recipes! Love your channel 🥰😊
Megan it’s a running joke in every Mexican household that moms don’t care how hot it is outside if they want caldo they’re gonna make it! And yes we all sweat too but best believe we’re gonna eat it!!!! YOU MAKE THOSE SOUPS MEG!!!
It’s time to change your beginning video. Love watching you. Been watching for years and years. From your travel blogs to homeowner then now renting again. Happy boo day ….and god bless.
The pumpkin spice cream reminds me of when my visiting teacher brought me a homemade pumpkin spice masque and my husband fed it to the baby! Haha! Oops!
I was in Moorseville NC for winter 2009-2010 and it snowed a lot! Being from Australia, I was so delighted. I hope you guys get snow this winter! Loved this video.
I love every video you post-the best is because it is never the same! I love all of Mikes little comments-he’s hilarious! You two are the best combination! Love you both. I find it funny that you never have a list-I HAVE to shop with a list or I’d forget something (and it’s just me!) Another fun video. I love The Knorpps!!
I cook my pasta aside of my soup. I warm it when needed and add it last minute to my bowl . My family loves it as each of them chooses to add as much as they liked to their soup. Bonjour de Quebec
Megan , I have been backing ginger bread houses every year Christmas for the past 35 years. It will be no problem for you, it’s so easy to make the dough, just remember that you must make it in advance,it needs to rest and swell for many hours. We design our creation a lot of the time from someplace we’ve been that year or something that has happened in our life. It can be a house,a church, the Eiffel Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge and of course when the children were small, they decided what it was to be. For me drawing the pattern is difficult my husband always does that and it helps to have an extra pair of hands to build it up 😅
Try keeping an eye out for the ornate bunt/cake pans at the Thrift store? A great idea for the family to pitch in as a birthday.or early Christmas present
minced all that garlic and make them into balls/pucks and put in a freezer bag and use them for dishes you making, its so convenient! just toss them in frozen to what you're cooking.
Super video today, Guys! Love Megan’s antics at Costco…so funny ♥️ The fireplace surround was made lovely, once again, by the Knorpp magic touch. Looking forward to seeing it in the room, all “styled up!” 🙏😊
for the garlic, we always peel and chop them when we buy alot. use a food processor with a bit of neutral oil, and then freeze them into cubes! so useful to pull out later and you dont sacrifice the flavour of fresh garlic.
I loved your bread tutorial from a couple years ago. Would you consider a soup tutorial? I'd love to hear your tips for your favorite soup bases and additions!
Qvc carries high-quality wide calf boots and they also sell half sizes. I buy that bag of garlic from Costco and I make a honey garlic ferment That’s fantastic for the winter months when you get sick or to prevent you from getting sick. I also bought that Jim shore, large grinch that you walked past in the beginning of the video. They make a new one every year. I bought one last year and then I bought the new one this year. They’re super cute and they’re only $49 opposed to a couple hundred anywhere else for that particular size.
My problem with knee high boots is I have small ankles but big calves! I have yet to find a pair that fits here in the UK. I love soups! Especially lentil made with smoked bacon! Great, fun video!
Meg, I just looked on Amazon and they sell an Organic Gnocchi, wheat free. Main ingredient is potatoes of course. I’m going to order it and give it a free.
Those cherries are on my niece’s Christmas list every year. My husband keeps buying the limited edition Kirkland Maple Syrup. He doesn’t even eat pancakes. He just has a teaspoon a day as a treat. The Bourbon maple syrup makes THE BEST homemade chocolates! I stock up every fall/winter to last through the whole year as I make chocolates for friends.
Hi ! Just found this sight during pie month. I can cook but can’t make a boiled crust to save me. Every one of your crust looked like a piece of art. You probably already do this but I save all my Parmesan rinds in a freezer bag and throw them in my soups, stews & sauces. Go to Aldi and grab a $5.00 bottle of morello cherries in syrup. You can find a fancy little jar at the thrift store. Looking forward to more videos. Thank you 🙏
Love watching Very interesting shopping trip I love watching other people shop because they always have something you haven’t tried Thank you for sharing
Look for microfiber boots with a bit of stretch in them. They are really soft. Look at Macys or DSW. Make sure you spray water proofing in them. I love mine ❣️
Or… simply peel the individual cloves, lay them out on a cookie sheet and freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag. So easy to pull out just what your recipe needs - and never need to throw out sprouted or dried up garlic again!
Hi again, I do not normally comment twice on a video, but forgot a couple things. One, you don't go through meats/groceries as fast as before as your older teens are no longer in your household (trust me, I went through it too with just two). Also, I make soups and gumbos year round when I'm in the mood as we love them no matter the time of year. Nothing is just "seasonal' in our house. I'm deep south through and through.
I’m with you on puff pastry, so hard to get hold of, when I see it in a grocery stores I stock pile them and make UK style sausage rolls and cheese straws. Always a favorite at Xmas and b’day party’s. So much easier to buy bulk 👍🏻
You can freeze garlic 🧄 i buy in bulk then separate and pill & stick them in a freezer bag. So easy & convenient especially when you use garlic in everything like me 😋
Oh it’s a happy day when the Knorpps upload a video
Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰
Agree!
Exactly!
Agree😊😊❤❤
Absolutely ❤❤❤❤
I think this is a good lesson for husbands to see all the things we don't buy..😅 when that basket could have been filled to the top!
Take your garlic, mince it and take a small scoop and freeze on a pan. When frozen put in a bag, use as needed.
I mince a lot of garlic in my smaller food processor and freeze how you suggested. Another thing I do with garlic is put the minced garlic in olive oil and put in a small jar and refrigerate it. Use as needed.
I do this as well
I also do this with tomato paste and pumpkin puree. The key is not forgetting it’s in your freezer 😂🤦♀️
I’ve been doing this and it works extremely well 👌
Or U’ve seen individual blend it into a paste and freeze in ice cube trays, I believe then pour a bit of olive oil over each cube😃👍🏼 I’m sure there is a recipe or example on Pinterest 😃👍🏼 Also regarding larger quantities of meat you can divide up amounts at home and freeze😃👍🏼 This way especially if the price is better than grocery store it’s a win win and you have your meat covered in the freezer ready to create a delicious meal. I LOVE LOVE the banter! So adorable.
Megan is so sassy today. Love it!!
I love this video SO much! I love you guys! You two together are so fun!!!!

Mike is definitely a keeper, my husband wouldn’t dare go with me to Costco if I looked at and talked about every item 🤣
Peel and then pulse the garlic in a blender. Drop by teaspoonful on parchment paper covered cookie sheets. Freeze, then put in bags. So convenient!
You can also freeze whole peeled cloves in bags.
I totally agree with the puff pastry suggestion to Costco. During the holidays I use tons of it and it’s sooo expensive.

Megan here in Jamaica we have soup traditionally every Saturday and at almost every big gathering no matter how hot it is. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Take care and God bless you all
I have purchased all the nuts Costco sells. I keep them in the freezer, and they never get ranset. I use them all through the year.
I think you forgot the jam. This was a fun video. ❤

I have mentioned it a few times over this year. They must love the old intro though.

Bonjour de Quebec
The morning buns ARE AMAZING
The guy and the buggy at the end of the aisle at 16:05 lol as Megan guzzles syrup lol
I like making soups too. GLAD THAT SOUP SEASON IS HERE,
Oh yes ! A cooking day in the life video ❤❤
Really enjoyed your shopping trip🙂
Another vote for puff pastry!!
Macys carries wide calf boots.
Yes they do. Can be expensive but worth it.
DSW. Extra wide calf. They always have a bunch of selections. Usually several Franco Sarto.
Loved the Costco shopping trip!
I stayed to the end and enjoyed it all😊😊😊
Thanks for video, very interesting ❤️
Megan they sell zipper extenders now, I have super thick calves a family curse, zipper extenders have made a difference for my eldest niece. 🙂🐈⬛🐈💖🌈
Yes Costco is wonderful 😊
Always looking forward to your videos now we're at Costco you give me the jello laugh
😂Mike’s reaction to all baked goods. You are a match baked in heaven ❤😂😂😂

I love going Costco shopping with you two !
Soups, soups, soups!
I want to know how to do Pot Roast tacos? 23:11
Plus I made it to end ❤ and maybe once every other week maybe do a soup. I ❤ soup
Try keeping an eye out for the ornate bunt/cake pans at the Thrift store? A great idea for the family to pitch in as a birthday.or early Christmas present
We haven’t had Costco for very long.So I watched all of your video

EXCITED FOR RECIPES 😊😊😊
I love your trips to the grocery store.
The Dutch way to say Gouda is pronounced ‘Howda’❤❤❤❤
Interesting! Thx!
I never heard that. Thank you.
.. while clearing the throat to get the h just right..
Thanks guys! You fulfilled my Costco dreams!!! 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉

Great video!
Absolutely love the outfit
A higher boot with stretch/elastic is a tips. I have high winterboots with elastic areas.
Thanks for that happy happy video 😊
Bogs for wide calf. They are great and very sturdy.
for the garlic, we always peel and chop them when we buy alot. use a food processor with a bit of neutral oil, and then freeze them into cubes! so useful to pull out later and you dont sacrifice the flavour of fresh garlic.
It would be fun to see some of your favorite soups! I love soup season💕
That Crown maple syrup is THE BEST!
We use Puffed Pastry for making sausage rolls. YUM. My MOM always made them at home.
You two crack me up!!! I could see us hanging out and laughing until our bellies hurt! Keep up the awesome videos.
those dog panels we used to form our chicken run. works pretty good with a pergola top.
I loved your bread tutorial from a couple years ago. Would you consider a soup tutorial? I'd love to hear your tips for your favorite soup bases and additions!
I bought that syrup yesterday. Bottle was cool to. I think I will use it for homemade Vanilla after.

I would love to see more cooking videos. You always have delicious recipes ❤
No matter where you live you have the knack of creating an amazingly homely nest. 💕
You can get boots with a wide calf, kind of like you can get regular shoes in wide 😊
My problem with knee high boots is I have small ankles but big calves! I have yet to find a pair that fits here in the UK. I love soups! Especially lentil made with smoked bacon! Great, fun video!
Go to a cobbler. They can easily add in more leather around the calf or maybe even just a stretchy band near the seams. See what they say maybe fun 💖
They are good.
?
Great video very entertaining and fun .❤❤
❤😊Costco!
i like the puff pastry idea COSTCO
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Megan do 90’s bangs for the holiday. Be super cute ❤️
Love watching
Very interesting shopping trip
I love watching other people shop because they always have something you haven’t tried
Thank you for sharing
Long Boot solution for cankles 😂 - buy a regular pair and get your cobbler to sew an inset. I always have to do it due to large calves.
I find a wide variety of wide calf/ankle boots at Kohls. Love your videos! ❤️
Look for microfiber boots with a bit of stretch in them. They are really soft. Look at Macys or DSW. Make sure you spray water proofing in them. I love mine ❣️
Swiss cheese is the best 😊
Puree the garlic, put it into a ziplock, press some lines into it, and freeze it. Then you have cubes of garlic easy to grab when you need it!
Or… simply peel the individual cloves, lay them out on a cookie sheet and freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a freezer bag. So easy to pull out just what your recipe needs - and never need to throw out sprouted or dried up garlic again!
Always love your video❤
Always love YALLS channel
QVC for boots. Some brands make for bigger calves, and a wide or narrow boot base also. Hope this helps.
Anything you post would be great! xo Deb from Canada
You can take the garlic with some olive oil in ice cube trays and freeze them

Mike, Megan really needs pumpkin spice face cream 😂
Im replying here bc you aren't wrong, but also they need Manchego!! Buy the Manchego cheese!
I had no comment option aside from replies 😏
Awesome vlog laughed so much 😂😂❤❤

Trader Joes has a great puff pastry!
We have a Costco membership but it’s over an hr away. Hoping they build one in our regional country town soon.
You can freeze garlic
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
That maple syrup is wonderful! Also, look into freezing your garlic in ice cube trays.
You can freeze garlic 🧄 i buy in bulk then separate and pill & stick them in a freezer bag. So easy & convenient especially when you use garlic in everything like me 😋
Trader Joe’s has puff pastry that is very reasonable in price! It’s seasonal so stock up!
J.c. penney is a go to for boots.Wide calf boots do not usually fit anywhere else I go.
Would love a detailed video of the beef tacos! Also a detailed video of how to make soups super flavorful.
