I adore your knowledge of body language when it comes to dogs. As well as your experience in how they feel and act. We need more dog owners like you in the world to raise and educate others :))
@@althor9997its honestly a disservice to a lot dogs everywhere. probably a lot of pups out there with behavioral problems and the owner doesnt know how to correct them because they dont recognize body language. adopting should come with a guidebook on it or something.
GSD have a problem of being very bold and high energy, which causes some tiffs here and there. The stalking you see is actually very normal for GSD. They stalk and then spring upwards in play. My GSD mix used to do the same thing but I stopped it because it made people nervous.
It's a problem w GSD mixes *** ... I own 2 and both male & female are pure bred .. Neither of my dogs have EVER had crazy amount of energy even as puppies .. There energy lvl & every other emotion my dog exhibits (for the most part) depends on what i am expressing .. Its never excessive though & NEVER dominant .. A lot of people settle for mixes because of how expensive genuine pure bred GSD's are .. But if you do not want to deal with the extra hyper active activity & what not spending the extra $2,200+ is worth it in my eyes .. But i also don't take mine to dog parks, i walk both of mine on the beach w out a leash .. But they've had plenty of contact w others dogs & cat's .. Never experienced an issue w either ..
I've had 3 pure bred GSDs, and I agree they're high energy and heck all of mind used to stalk me when they wanted to play. I don't think it matters if someone pays 2k for a dog, it just depends on the dog themselves. 😉
@@FBIMOUS377 i have german shepherd/pit/husky mix and she's so damn calm until a dog gets to up in her face, she's so patient but after some time she snaps at them 😂
Wow! I love how attuned the owner is! Such a great job of noticing and respecting animal behavior. Knowing your dog and other dogs that your dog interacts with can be so important to keeping everyone and every animal safe in interactions. Great job!
I didn’t see any of the dogs turn on him though? They might do it to other dogs, but that can usually be corrected with training and proper socialisation. Dogs that are aggressive to people and try and bite are often put down and are not usually allowed in dog parks either
I truly love this kind of videos, this shows control of every dog owner knows that dogs growl in order to mark, they understand it’s normal behavior and don’t freak out if one of them reacts or puts in place other dog
Dude I raised pits ur dog is bringing the excited energy get ur blinders off he is on edge the whole time u know it u keep repeating commands and the dog dose not listen
The black shepherd can’t help itself lol. I heard its like a mechanism that they have when pouncing😂😂😂😂Which makes sense cuz lots of shepherds do that lmaooo
Love how well u can read everyone. Honestly the dog park gives me anxiety way to bad. Watching this has my hands and feet sweating haha. Ruger is to small to try but our 1 year old boxer loved the dog park. Unfortunately a husky has taken it over and attacks Kane immediately everytime
That makes sense.. Like not every dog is good with a toy, some go batshit crazy the moment a squeaky toy is introduced into the mix and then take that away and the dog is like a whole other being; calm, cool, not phased by anything 😂
I honestly think dog parks are the best thing ever. I know that there is sometimes a crazy dog and there can be fights - but you wouldn't say that you shouldn't take your kids to school because some kids are trouble makers and there's a fight once in a while. Socializing among dogs is the best thing for them. Dogs also learn to avoid the crazies, which is an importan social skill to have.
Current recommendations are waiting 1-1.5 years before neutering for makes....so better get used to it. Trainer at Tom Rose Dog Trainer school recommended we wait 2 years for our GSD, but we couldnt wait that long
@@diggles27 Damn.. I had issues with the vet not neutering mine because they were afraid of how small she was but I still got them to do it.. A dog should always be neutered if it's not for breeding (so for guild dogs, etc).
My mom pitty doesn't like high energy dogs. She can interact with them but will lay them out the moment they are too much for her. No damage just calms them down.
I have a 55kg /121 pound GSD female she big black and most certainly a ALFA dog in the park but she also the most protective of her dog friends. She thinks the parks her and always on the watch for New dogs but not once has she bitten another dog but what she does do is circles around other dogs we assume to intimidate. Her best friend is a brown Lab who was attacked by a husky about 30 meters away as we heard her friend bark we noticed our GSD take off at fall speed and ran straight into the husky and knocked it flying.
When a dog is being aggressive they stare down at another dog zoning in for the kill. Loud dogs making a big show of noise and teeth is defensive, it's saying "back off and stop". If you've ever seen a dog go in for blood they are dead silent, stare, crouch and then stalk a d chase down their target.
Good on you for letting dogs be dogs, human owners who interfere do more harm than good, you can't teach or communicate something to a dog like another dog can. That Shepherd just wants to play, but it's a big breed and needs bigger stronger dogs to do it with
I don't understand why George's owners bring the toy at all if thats how he plays. If that's how he plays with the toy, toy is good for solo play but with other dogs leave it at home.

That line was so funny and relatable, oh wait IT IS A GOPRO DOG..
Rather call IT The Dog Pro V1 😂

It's pretty intriguing to me that most people don't understand body language, even amongst other people. People are just so out of tune with it

Enough with the breed hating. Thanks. As a pitbull owner you should know better than to stereotype a breed.
My female does this to play as well, my male GSD hates play like that and only tolerates it from her at home where he feels safer
i love how much george loves his toy lol
that was a comforting plot turn to have him sqeaking the whole time.

George is definitely the coolest dog in park. Always has the newest toys and other dogs are jealous xD

Great dog, great owner. the trust is real.

Hahaha how Camela put the thirsty dog in his place nooo 😂
the husky liked Canela 🥰
Where is this? Its like compton for dogs.
I got your latest video recommended and instantly watched all of them they‘re great please make more
Good the way you tell her to stop when necesarry, she can be a little too overprotrective it seems.
My pit is same way..very protective of me or kids....not against people as much as other dogs.
When the growl gets slowed it sounds like a tiger😂
Thanks! I’m getting a gsd soon, it’s good to know how rough they can get. Though we’ll train it well, so there’s nothing to worry about! 🍀✨
Oh geez
I love these !

How do you train your pit to be like this around other dogs like very calm
Make your dog familiar with other dogs and correct them when they are to rough or try to start a fight
It dosnt matter if its a pit, it all depends in how the owner trains the dog

In our local dog park its not allowed to bring toys unless the other dog owners currently in there says its okay.
