I really wish there was a tutorial for this style of smoke, but in Krita. I love the natural way this comes out as an end result, but Krita doesn't have (that I could find?) a "Maximize" function in the same way PS does.
Great video, thank you! Would you use this technique to make one of those glowing storybook photos, maybe if you add some golden coloring? Where children have an open book in their lap, with an excited look on their face, and the glow goes from the book to illuminating their face.
