I did all three at 75k miles on my 2016 Ram 1500. All were in pretty good shape. Regular maintenance is so important. Thanks Aaron. Yes always fill plug first. Lol
It's also a good idea to check the diff vent to ensure its clear and working. Part of the maintenance proceedure. Always Bluejays in the background. Nice.
Absolutely. I actually did check the vents but didn't think to include it in the video. Oddly the front has a little filter valve looking thing about 3" from the housing. First time I've seen that. Thanks!
Hello Aaron that was OEM transmission fluid right i just did the front differential it when good i cant seem to find the oil like u have the squeezable one here in Canada

You picked a fine product using the Amsoil Lubricants
I did the rear last year. Need to do front this summer. In my former Ram I kind of liked cracking the pumpkin open to remove all the sludge.
Awesome Aaron thanks i will do my truck its a 2015
Which tcase do you have the 4wd auto BW44-44 or the non 4wd auto BW44-45?
4wd with Auto. Thanks!

i dont think your car has a limited slip diff in the rear.. dont need the additive
3.92 gears all came with an LSD.
You can also just jack up the rear and turn either tire if the opposite tire spins in same direction you have LSD
I can't believe that the rear diff only uses a rubber stopper instead of a plug
I was kinda surprised myself. Certainly the cheap way to go for the OEM. That said, 140k on it now and it hasn't leaked. Thanks!
@@aaronsrose did you replace it or clean and reinstall the original one?
Just cleaned, lubed it with some o-ring lube and reinstalled. No issues so far.
Thread sealant on plugs?
It’s recommended by mopar
how many of those bags did you use for the rear ?
I don't recall exactly, but I think it may have been between 3 & 4. Thanks!
The transfer case what kind of oil did you use
That was Amsoil OE automatic transmission fluid. Thanks!

For the transfer case I mean
Yes. The xfer case takes automatic transmission fluid. I'd confirm with your parts store which type is correct. Thanks!
