I've got the big size Hydro X (think it's just over a litre) and it's perfect fir me and the dog! My previous bottle was a pain, too small and I had to unscrew the whole lid to pour water for the dog. Really love the dual lid design on the Hydro X, plus the fact it keeps the water nice and cold, which a lot of the drinking straw bottles don't do. Definitely recommend. 😎

North Norfolk is an amazing place to visit. Holkham Beach with its pine wood forest all the way to wells next to the sea. Clay next to the sea with all the nature walks, the Muckleburgh military collection is a great way to spend hours looking around. Then go inland to Holt a lovely village where you can get the steam train to Sheringham, then over to Cromer for the famous Cromer crab.

Oh wow, I have subscribed to you guys for years and had no idea you had connections to my home town of Shrewsbury (not Shroesbury.) Rule of thumb to locals, those considered a bit more snooty or well bred refers to it as Shroesbury whilst the rest of us call in Shrewsbury - regardless of where you live. In fact, you walked past our old flat when you walked down from St Chads, so you can't get much more centre of town than that. It's a great vlog, many thanks. In addition to this channel, I have another channel named, Brompton Habitude, where I have released my own Brompton bike tour of Shrewsbury. In fact, I'm just finishing off another vlog where I discuss the locals shuts and alleyways. I'd be chuffed to bits if you even saw my vlog for two minutes. Good luck guys. Mal (and Ruth and Raffy). x

Norfolk is beautiful. Visit the seals at Blakeney Point, via Morsten Quay. Hunstanton is lovely, Holkham beach is award winning, Holkham hall is impressive too. Wells-next-the-Sea is nice. Further round the coast, you can park up alongside the coast at Walcott. And the beach at Sea Palling is lovely. It’s all very quiet and sleepy feeling. The Norfolk Broads is nice, but more built up and busier. Norwich is a great city too, I think you’d like it!

As residents of Norfolk, we've been wondering why you've not visited this part of the country. Norfolk's the sunniest, driest county btw and, despite scurrilous rumours, is far from flat (might seem so after Wales though ;) ). North Norfolk coast has wide, sandy beaches, comparatively unspoilt. Places like Wells next the Sea, Brancaster, Holkham Bay, Blakeney, Salthouse, Sheringham, Cromer. Kelling Heath for woodland. Norfolk Broads for chilled waterways..wild camping parkups can be found outside of towns. It's quite varied, topographically, so can often feel like several different counties in one. Good choice. Also, extremely dog-friendly.
Suffolk countryside also lovely around Framlingham, where "Detectorists" was fiilmed. Watched it yet? If not, why not :)? x

Went to school in Norwich, beautiful city, cathedral and wonderful Tudor houses down Elm Lane where my great, great grandmother lived. Nick driving on an open road, crosses double white centre lines into the opposite lane in the rain. Get real Nick, want an accident in your new van. Then a bit later on squinting and then suddenly his glasses appear. I don’t know if the boat, Sabrina Goddess of the River, is still in business, but it was such a lovely experience. Hi again you 4 , nice to see some smiles following your tough times . This weeks flog brought back great memories ! . Years ago a few of us from work used to travel down from North Yorkshire ( York ) each year to fish the river Severn for Barbel ( we don't have so many up North ) . We stayed for a week in the Severn Arms Hotel which at the time was owned by a family from York , happy days .
To add comment to your Norfolk adventure , I wouldn't ! . HaHa . Yes we have had some fantastic boating holls on the Broads but generally its all a bit flat and boring .
Yes I'm a little biased living where I do , but my advice would be to follow the East Coast above the Humber on your way to Northumberland . If you want dramatic cliffs and seabirds call in at Bempton Cliffs , then up the coast to Filey and Scarborough ( if you want busy ) but the must is a stop and look at Robin Hoods Bay , magical small fishing village with so much history . Then Whitby if your into goths and Dracula ! . Following up the coast is the small village of Staithes , if you can manage to arrive on the weekend of 13th to 15th sept its the Staithes Festival of Arts and Heritage . We have been a couple of times , its a fantastic experience . Because its the end of the holiday season , most of the cottages down in the village are taken over by Artists . You can just wonder from place to place ( maybe have food and a pint between ) discovering nooks and crannies between the cottages plus loads of interest within .

Excited for your visit to Northumberland, you must visit bamburgh castle, it's situated on a beach overlooking lindisfarne islands, floods of history, and beautiful village with superb pubs.
    Druridge bay also fantastic.

I also live in Norfolk and I can recommend Blickling Hall it's free to walk around the huge lake only have to pay for parking unless you are NT members then it's free also Sea Palling is a lovely unspoilt seaside resort and dogs are welcome on the beach all year round though in the summer you can only walk in one direction I think it's to the right when you go over the ramp but it will be sighn posted and if you go do try the little cafe it does amazingly good hot dogs, burgers and chips and not forgetting ring donuts in your choice of flavour hit me up if you want any more recommendations I've lived in Norfolk for 39 years so I know a few places. Oh and you should go to the Hippodrome in Great Yarmouth it's pretty special as it the only Circus in the UK with a water pool under the circus floor 😅

Hi both, Norfolk, its a great place to visit. Base yourselves around the Sheringham an Cromer areas. Such to see and do, great seafront views, lovely cliff walks. Interesting nat trust property's to visit but walking the land around Holkham is the best. Seals to see from the trips at Blakeney point. You will love it. Enjoy. Linda and Paul. Cannot wait for the resulting vlog.

Ricky's conviction was actually overturned in 2021 he and 23 other men were convicted after they were involved in strike action, and the charges were politically motivated. Good union men convicted unfairly. As a fellow Stourbridge resident, it's great to see you back over this way, and to see your folks too.

Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 where do I start! It’s all beautiful.
    1. Glencoe
    2. Fort William (Nevis Range)
    3. Isle of Skye (fairy pools, kilt rock & other waterfalls)
    4. Applecross Pass (very steep, but exciting, Velton will get up there, as mine did & they’re about the same size) the views at the top are amazing and waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee, you can’t get much better.
    5. Smoo Cave
    6. Falls of Shin - they’ve got waste disposal and if you’re lucky you can see the salmon leaping.
    7. Dunnet Head (the most northerly point of main land Britain
    8. If you’re up that way John O’Groats.
Down the east side of NC500 there are some beautiful villages and harbours (with history of herring fishing) Lybster being one.
Helmsdale has a lovely fish bar called Thyme & Plaice. Out of Helmsdale on the A897 you can go through some beautiful scenery and see red deer, there’s the Kildonan Gold Rush.
    Dunrobin Castle.
    9. Cairngorms
    10. The Kelpies
    11. The Falkirk Wheel.
    Yorkshire 🇬🇧
Mother Shiptons cave & The Petrifying well.
Hope there are some places on here that are of interest to you xx

I've seen a lot of phone boxes with defibrillators in them, I was quite excited when I saw the first one in Derbyshire, I'm easily pleased. I do hope you get chance to go to Northumbria particularly Budle Bay it's beautiful lovely clear water Bamburgh Castle is just a walk down the beach, doggies are allowed and just down the road is Alnwick Castle where they filmed Harry Potter. There's a lovely site right on the beach it belongs to a farmer so it's not stuffy caravan club. It's one place I go to every year I just love it. Also Holy Island Lindisfarne is just down the road as well, loads to do and see. I'm sure it has the right vibe for you pair. Great episode guys love to the doggies❤ see you next week. Nick looks a lot like his dad😊

I grew up in Norfolk and vanlife will be difficult around the beaches unfortunately. The beautiful beaches at Brancaster, Holkham and Wells you have to pay (lots) to park. You can park on the cliff rop at Hunstanton during the day for free, if you can find a space and definitely take the doggies for a walk on Old Hunstanton beach and visit our friends that run the Beach cafe opposite the Lifeboat Station. They are Very dog friendly....
And do say Hi from Hannah and Conrad..
We're currently in our van in Spain heading back towards home in Central Portugal....
    Safe travels. X

Hey guys. I am working in Norfolk and know it well now. There are not many wild parkups here. There are lots of pub stops, though. Lovely coast to explore. You can park on the road in Hunstanton. The best pub to park at is the poachers pocket at Walcott, it's right on the beach. The weather is definitely better here. Let me know if you need anything while you're here. I am in Cromer until the 23rd. X

If you're going to Norfolk we would suggest a visit to Sandringham House and gardens is a must. You can stay at Sandringham CCC and walk to the House from there. If you are a member of Historic Houses you can visit the house and gardens for free. If you want to go to the coast West Runton is nice again there is a CCC site within walking distance and great for the dogs. All the best Mel & Shell.

Ah great catch up guys! We lived in Scotland for 6 months with our two girlies, they were in primary school in Montrose, (East coast) an amazing town right on the sea front, lots of van parking I'd think there, worth a trip? Loch Lomond is gorgeous on the other side, West. Get those done before inclement weather hehe. We live in Devon so our best beaches are on the North coast heading down, its called the Atlantic Highway, check that one out, surfers route south. Likes Shrewsbury have never been so interesting to see those oldie worldy buildings, amazing and yes, so like Chester. Looking forward to your next vid, xxx high to the woofers, sweeties.

Aussie here..I did a driving holiday in a Wicked campervan back in 2014...I travelled from London all the way up to Edinburgh..I parked overnight on the Northumbrian coastline, somewhere south of Holy Island..I camped amoungst the sand dunes in a wetlands park..I was awoken by the sound of the Northumbrian ponies munching on the bush that my van was parked against..I LOVED IT..I think the nearest place name started with a C, but I can't remember and I don't have my diary of my journey close at hand...have a gander in google to see if you can find it..good journey..I've been to Scotland every time I've gone to the UK (4x) I love it..I've been as far south as Lands End and as far north as Kirkwall in the Orkney Isles...I've been as far west as the west coast of the Isle of Harris and down the east coast from Wick to London..enjoy your jouney..
