I just got done with a playthrough of Skyrim and had a lot of fun using this build. The build in question is Werewolf battlemage known as the Wolf King. The Wolf King much like his name sake is a master of the forces of Life and Death, reviving his allies and raising the soul shriven corpses of his enemies to join him on the field of battle. At night, he shape shifts into a creature of the night, mauling and devouring bandits, Thalmor, and the Imperials who gave his ancestral home to the Dominion. Despite his moniker and nature of his abilities, the Wolf King is more benevolent than his Imperial predecessor. That being said, the only allegiance he has is to his home and the Nords that live there. He will strive to champion the Nords in their plight against the Empire, Thalmor, as well as the Dragons that have returned and he will not rest until Skyrim has been liberated. Race: Nord (Werewolf) Sex: Male Skills: One-handed, Destruction, Conjuration, Restoration, and Enchantment. Standing Stone: Ritual Stone. Equipment: Enchanted Master Mage Robes, Black Mage Hood, Nordic Gauntlets, Nordic Boots, Necromancer Amulet, a ring of your choice, and an Ebony Sword. This sword shall be swapped out for a Dragonbone sword called the World-Eater after the defeat of Alduin. Mods: Alternate Start, Automated Perk Overhaul, Void Magic (most important), Resurrection Spell, and Growl Werebeasts of Skyrim. Backstory: The Wolf King was born to two Nords residing in Bruma during the year of 4E 151. His father had studied to become and acclaimed wizard while his mother was considered one of the greatest warriors Skyrim had ever produced. The two met in the Legion and while they did not initially get along, they gradually began to warm up to one another during their joined service. One night, their platoon received word of Werewolf that had taken to attacking Imperial Camps under the fall of night. One survivor who had encountered the beast described it as a mass of shadow grown from the darkest pits Oblivion, bearing fangs and claws the could rend Legionnaire steel like a knife through butter. Renowned for their wisdom and battle prowess respectively, the two were sent to hunt down the Werewolf before it could claim the lives of any more soldiers. They encountered the beast one night in the woods, the Wolf King's father having used his scrying magics to locate it. The three did battle and after several close calls they manage to fell the ravenous monstrosity, trapping its spirit within a soul gem that the Imperial mage would have cut and set into a ring that he would use to propose to the shield maiden. After being wed and honorably discharged, the two Nords settled down in Bruma to start a family of their own. It seemed as though nothing could go wrong the lovers until their very first child was conceived stillborn. The two grieved for the loss of their son who for months they had anticipated his arrival and the happy life they would have raising him. Unable to come to terms with the loss of his son, the mage decided to perform a ritual ment to bring his son back from the grave. Having studied at the college of Winterhold, the Imperial mage had an understanding for the art of Necromancy he otherwise would not have had he studied anywhere else. He used the soul gem containing the soul of the Werewolf he and his wife had slain to restore the life of their deceased child. The mother was horrified at first and couldn't believe that her husband had gone behind her back to resurrect their child with a perverted art such as necromancy. She expected the child to fall apart in decay or become some abominable ghoul bound by a soul that was not her child's. To both of their surprise however, the child did not become either of these things and instead grew up as any ordinary child would. The two could not believe their luck and reconciled, knowing that they must keep the secret of their sons rebirth a secret lest he be put to death and they thrown in prison. The Wolf King continued to be raised under his parents supervision. While they did love him, they seemed to constantly live in fear of the day when something would inevitably go wrong. The Wolf King saw this and never could understood how his mother and father could cherish him yet seem to hold him at arms length. Once he had reached his teens, he'd become something of a loner, the other Nord children mocking him for his father being a wizard. The Wolf King, while trying to ignore their taunting, began to resent his father and the magic he practiced. The Wolf King came to his father with this, telling him that magic was not the way of a true Nord. His father while never telling him the truth, would always tell him that it was magic that gave him life, stating that magic has the power to bring about life, death, and great change where an ordinary sword would prove useless. The Wolf King would not learn the true meaning of these words until the year 171 when the Great War between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion. The Wolf King following in the footsteps of his parents, joined the Legion where he became and accomplished foot soldier, having inherited his mother's talent with a sword. Those in his platoon would remark that the Wolf King fought with the tenacity of starving wolf, reaping the lives of any enemy soldier he came across, regardless of the gap in years of experience. On one particular battlefield near the final days of the war, this talent would eventually fail him. The elves had out numbered his platoon and cut down every last man and woman until only he remained. Bloodied, with his mother's shattered sword in hand and the Dominions forces having surrounded him from all sides, all the Wolf King could do was roar and plunge what remained of his sword into the soil. The earth rumbled as the sky grew dark, and without warning a storm of necromantic energy descended from above. Those who were struck had their souls claimed only to have their corpses reanimated and set upon the survivors. Even more rose up from the earth, skeletons clad in armor and weaponry from ages past. Within moments the Wolf King had amassed and army of the undead to drive off his would be killers, but the process was draining. He collapsed in exhaustion as the horde of zombies fell alongside him, returning to their state post mortem. The Wolf King's body was recovered by the Aldmeri Dominion who had him chained up and tortured. They sought the power that had been used against them, hoping it could be turned against the Empire. Unaware of the power they were referring to but unwilling to help the elves regardless, the Wolf King fought against his tormentors despite escape being virtually impossible. He knew he was going to die in imprisonment, unable to ever see his mother or father again. This realization filled him with anger and that anger transformed him, literally. The Wolf King's body began to enlarge before his captors eyes as patches of fur began to manifest. The Wolf King broke free of his restraints, having taken on the form of the very Werewolf whose soul inhabited his body. The Dominion decided to cut their loses and put an end to beast before it could escape. The Wolf King however was just as tenacious as a Werewolf as he was as a mortal. After killing a number of their forces, he managed to get away and fled into the wilds. Unfortunately, the bloodlust of the beast had returned and would not allow the Wolf King to revert back without a fight. For years the Wolf King wandered in the body of animal driven mad by its desire for blood and death. He eventually found himself in the Jerall mountains but after days of being unable to feed, the beast lost its strength and the Wolf King returned, having been displaced both geographically and temporally. It was apparent from first glance that he was not in Cyrodiil and that the world was much different from how he remembered. His heart became furious when he learned of the treaty the Empire had struck with the elves. While not a devout worshiper himself, his parents were and he is devastated to learn that the Thalmor made an example of them several years past, having publicly executed them both while he was away. They'd died thinking he'd perished during the Great War and the Wolf King swore his vengeance on the Dominion then and there. From there you'll want want to begin your journey in the wilderness and make your way to Whiterun. There you'll encounter the Companions and seek to join there order in hopes of earning money and brushing up your skills as a warrior. Upon learning that they are Werewolves, the Wolf King will be intrigued by them and will desire to learn more about the form in order to better understand it and control it. As his Void magic begins to manifest once more however he will turn to the college of Winterhold for guidance. There he will gain an appreciation for magic as he learns he has affinity for Destruction, Restoration, and Conjuration, particularly Necromancy. From there the Wolf King will discover that he is Dragonborn and seek to master the ancient magic of the Thuum in order to challenge Alduin. Upon his defeat, you shall dedicate your sword, magic, and shape shifting abilities to the protection of Skyrim, joining the Stormcloaks to defeat the Imperial, joining the Dawnguard to stop Harkon, and venturing to Solstiem to kill Miraak once and for all. Along the way you'll want to do the "The Man Who Cried Wolf" and "The Wolf Queen Awakened" quest lines, challenging your predecessor to see who is the greatest thrall master in all of Skyrim.

I never played Skyrim but watching your channel make me want to play the game and use this build but all this information its too much I don't know nothing about this lol
This is a great build, but the only thing I would add to this is a mod that lets you make scrolls and have that be another corner stone of the character.
I was going to use this build, but as I progressed further into the game, I decided for my character's temptations to finally give in and be influenced by Hermaeus Mora, and ultimately becoming even more powerful, and gain more knowledge.
I have a no-armor, no-weapons, full mage build that I love to play. It's very challenging, which makes it very satisfying to play. A lot of the time, I let Inigo and Lucien Flavius do the fighting while I provide support. It's powerful on it's own, but melee situations can be dangerous.
This build wasn’t late, nor was it early, it arrived precisely when it meant to.
Im proud of myself for understanding the reference:')

Minor corrections for FM: one handed mastery doesn't have 5 ranks it has 1 and that one rank makes your 1 handed weapons do 1% more damage and 5% more critical damage per level of one handed also overpowering assault has 2 ranks first reduces enemies attack damage by 10% and second reduces it by 15% both for 10 seconds

Restoration: mastery perk has 1 rank and it makes restoration skills cost .5% less magicka per level of restoration
Alteration: mastery perk has 1 rank and makes spells cost .5% less magicka per level of Alteration, battle Mage and runic weapon were merged into a 2 rank perk and now does weapon attacks improves your spells cast on the target by 30% for 3 seconds with both ranks

That being said, the only allegiance he has is to his home and the Nords that live there. He will strive to champion the Nords in their plight against the Empire, Thalmor, as well as the Dragons that have returned and he will not rest until Skyrim has been liberated.

Cool story bro.
@@Anonymous-bu5bk Thank you
Even without playing as a battlemage, the sword in itself is beautifully crafted and perfect for a cryomancer build
Omg I MISSED these builds. I was going through all the videos last night deciding who to play for my first legendary playthrough. More build videos to hold me over until Cyberpunk please!
It's cool to see Skyrim builds again.
We need more modded builds. Especially Vokrii ones. This is golden.
Not sure about the black star though. Didn't seem like a fellow that'd be collecting black souls. Azura's quest didn't require anything unethical to complete in her favor, right?
What are the odds that I would start my first mage build in years and then this awesome guide comes out a few days later
I...I can’t believe it...
FUDGEMUPPET BUILDS ARE BACK!!!
This build + Spellscribe perk from enchanting is INSANE
I'm only ever here for the backstory. They're always so good.
Battle mage is my go to second only to Werewolf Vampire Hunter, great build 🤙🏿👍🏿
I was over here thinking about getting the loot crate. See fudgemuppet discount then thought this video was old but just realized it isnt.
A bit late to the party on this....but I stumbled back across this video earlier in the week and decided to start a new play thru using this build and holy smokes is it fun! I've used a few other FM builds here and there but this is by far my favorite
The last time one of these videos came out I still had my great shackles over the imperial city
It’s been over half a year since I last played Skyrim. But damn if your videos don’t always make me want to play it again.
Loot Crate? Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. The last I ever heard of them they were financially struggling. I thought they went out of business.
I’m relatively new to the channel so it’s so nice to see a new build thank you keep it up!
I would’ve thought that a Breton would’ve been ideal for such a build.
I miss your builds.
Praise Hermaeus Mora! He must have planted the knowledge of the build in the mind of Scott!
Our prayers be answered!
I love all the content, but i do miss these build vids. even though I never play any of the builds, it helps me get into a rp'ing and character building mindset. Its also interesting to see what can be done in skyrim outside of the normal builds often seen
YES! ive been doing something like this with my Vampire character. The Staff i used is from a mod that lets you summon a Clannfear XD.
an absolutely amazing mod which would go well with this character is Dealing with Daedra. it adds a lot of morrowind styled factions including a school of julianos
It’s scary how perfectly timed this video was released
Don't forget the mod visible staffs which makes it so you can see your character's equipped staff on his back while it's sheathed and it has a built in patch which makes mod added staffs compatible.
I think the vigilant mod would also suit this very well. Because throughout the mod you can remain untempted even in Molag Bal's own dimension.
Every time I watch one of your builds I always want to make a new character 🤣🤣
That was an amazing build!! Really epic and awesome mod choices, can't wait to build my next character as this guy 🧙🏻♂️🗡️🥶
I love the character! Might try this with Enai's Summermyst mod for even more enchantment options too
I love myself a good sword and staff combo. Best weapon combo ever.
So glad to finally see fudge muppet builds returning. this is the current play style of my current build too🌟bonus
Great to see more builds Fudgemuppet! This one looks especially good!
Dam guys this one was a long wait
3:10 says quick heads up while a head is floating on screen i like your style lol
this type of videos are the ones that then makes my skyrim crash to desktop.
This reminds me of a build I once did a Magic scribe if I remember correctly it's been a long time since I tried it this inspired me to try again
I've missed these videos, gandalf! YOU SHALL NOT PASS up this build!!
Imma be honest I'm not the biggest fan but your builds are always really fun and lovely to watch keep them up guys
Yooooooooo, so happy to see another build
I’ve been here since your first orc warchief build and I gotta say you guys have improved A LOT since then in all areas. You actually got me into role playing my characters more which makes it so much more enjoyable
Been watching you guys a very long time since your first sand demon build you guys have come so far thanks for the years of entertainment love you fudgemuppet you guys are almost to 1 mil so glad to see how much you guys have grown you have helped me have so much fun with skyrim new vegas fallout 4 outerworlds and even the witcher a huge thx to you guys for all you've done have a great day see you guys around
This is so great it’s been ages since we’ve seen one of these videos 🥺
I never played Skyrim but watching your channel make me want to play the game and use this build but all this information its too much I don't know nothing about this lol
Almost want this character to be a companion. I would travel with him.
Holy shit those murals in the video behind those shrines. I might personally dislike Aedra but I do like art.
This is a great build, but the only thing I would add to this is a mod that lets you make scrolls and have that be another corner stone of the character.
I thought we would never see another build again. Glad that isn't the case.
I was going to use this build, but as I progressed further into the game, I decided for my character's temptations to finally give in and be influenced by Hermaeus Mora, and ultimately becoming even more powerful, and gain more knowledge.
The Viper is still waiting to have A word with you boys and that word is "remaster". Still excellent video
Yes
“It’s got my magic staff fully charged and ready for action” - 🐪
This is genuinely amazing! I'm gunna do this build tonight!
I literally searched up builds just yesterday to see if fudgemuppet posted any recent ones
I have a no-armor, no-weapons, full mage build that I love to play. It's very challenging, which makes it very satisfying to play. A lot of the time, I let Inigo and Lucien Flavius do the fighting while I provide support. It's powerful on it's own, but melee situations can be dangerous.
Im so glad i can finally play with things like this thanks to ps finally having things like ordinator.
@fudgemuppet great timing as always, I’ve been wanting a good spellsword build for few weeks but couldn’t find the right vibe. This guy is perfect
The return of the king
