Yes that is his real voice. Even on the album it's his real voice. Someone mentioned that he used autotune on the album, but it's not. MIW has never used autotune, from what I can tell.

They're amazing live! I saw them live last sunday!
That is why there are some vocalists who can never sound the same as on the record, because of their highly processed vocal tracks while recording that cannot be emulated live. Not to mention in the studio there is time and different days to record singing or screaming parts, so there is vocal rest. A show is just one shot where you tear your voice apart. And they tour, which means they do a show probably almost every day or have only 2-3 days of rest and then 1 straight hour of vocal strain.

I agree, but you also gotta take into account, different mics/amps/sound guys have a huge affect on how his vocals sound as well coming from him through the amp sounds can change quiet abit.

And in case you want to argue technicality with me, it's a recording technique called layering. Most vocalists don't do it because it can sound weird if not EQed properly. If one layer goes slightly out of tune, it's going to create a dissonance that throws it off. Most engineers who do it volume one lower than the other so it's not obvious. However strangely enough, it makes small mistakes less obvious as there is a back up track. That's what you're hearing. Not autotune.

for everyone who's dissing ghost, HE'S TRYING. maybe ricky couldn't do it that night or he was sick so he couldn't scream, but ghost is part of the band. if your a creature, give him some support. jeez.

As a vocalist that damaged his vocal chords I have to agree that a warm up is more than a good idea, it's a big no no to go without such a crucial aspect of singing before performing. However, I disagree with saying his voice is 'fucking up' from the sounds of this performance. He uses a very wide range indeed, so live vocals will always sound different due to this effort.

But he needs to be careful. I scream in a local djent-like band. I have practically the same scream. And I hear is voice fucking up. he's screaming good, but its very strenuous. I Hope he warms up at least one minute for each minute of performance.
