Our pleasure!
Thanks Bergs love your videos i send you blessings and joy good job
Glad you like them! 🤩 We appreciate your viewership!!
The restaurants on the beach is one of the reasons we love Sanur
Yes, same here 🌴
We liked Surya and also La Playa along that section.
nice video
Thanks 🤩
I LOVE your fluff and rubbish - that's precisely why i watch 😂😍🥰
Glad we deliver 🤣🤣
Aw fluff and rubbish made me giggle 😂 thanks for your updates X 🙏🏻
You’re welcome 😊 Thanks for watching our Fluff & Rubbish! 🤣
Thanks for the info guys. Staying at Pantai Karang - 20-22 Dec. hope things still open on that stretch. Love the sand up to the hotels and restaurants, rustic and real Bali.
Fingers crossed! Enjoy your holiday 🤩🌴
@@bergsinbali weathers looking decent
It all looks so beautiful
It’s a lovely area of Sanur’s beachfront 🌴
where did you get this crazy idea about "best restaurants" closing? They are all open, alive and kicking, and some even renovated!
That was the talk at that time (6mths ago).
Bamboo and Lilla Pantai are great.
True!
Hi Guys
Love your vlogs. I am actually booked at the Asoka Home Stay for February next year after never staying in Jl Duyung beore
Chose this location for it's proximity to the restaurants on the beach. Have eaten in most of them over the years Le Player probably my favourite
Fingers crossed 😊there demolition doesn't happen at least for a while.
Yes! Definitely fingers crossed… hope you enjoy your holiday 🤩🌴
Oh no! We have booked at the Puri Santrian in May 2024 😮 hopefully still all there when we arrive 😛
Hope so!! Fingers crossed 🙏
Love the funny stories. Shame about the restaurants! Let’s wait & see what happens
Thanks 😉
The Wood Fire Pizza's at the start are really good and great value for money. You can also get them delivered to your door with Gojek if you feel like staying in for the night. Sad to see them closing down. That area along with La playa was my got to strip in the arvo. Cheers.
Thanks for watching! A lot of people will be disappointed should it change that area 🫣
My wife and I are visiting for the week from US. I just had breakfast at Cafe Batujimbar and was zipping back to my villa and saw you on the main road. It was like a celebrity siting!😊
Haha! Enjoy your holiday 🌴🤩
Thank you we will. And if I see you again I promise to stop and say a proper hello
Please do! 🤩
Coco's also used to have an excellent cook your own seafood skewers over coals at your table.
Ah love pescado..chefs from san sebastian ..owner is Brazilian but speaks perfect castellano..some awesome basque cuisines there
Sounds great! 👍
Fifteen times to Bali, we even got married there, but November 22 was our last trip. Sadly Bali is no more.
That’s sad that you don’t love it any more 🥲 Thanks for watching though
Developers coming in , beach front
Thank you for that report……even though it’s a disappointing one……hopefully that don’t make too many changes 😳
We were over there not so long ago and we love hiring bikes and cycling the sanur beach path…….such a pity though that some just don’t get it right with bikes one side and the pedestrians the other side. In fact we even saw a couple of motor scooters on the path 😱
We’ve never timed our holidays for the turtle hatching/release…….would absolutely love it if you filmed that!
Thank you for all your great videos!
Thanks for your comment 🤩 the walk/bike side thing is a funny situation 😋
Hopefully it all works out for the best!
Nooooooooo this is my fav section on the beach NOT HAPPY JAN 😮
Wait n see what happens 🤷♀️🤷🏼♂️
Thanks for watching 🤩
Parigata is our favourite villa.Thank you again for great video.See you soon.
Thanks 🤩 See you 🌴
There have been a large number of collisions along the beachfront between patrons and staff being hit by passing push bike riders.
I think the security of people along this esplanade is paramount . The Indonesia government will make its own decisions on what to do in this area going forward , and no doubt they have a long term plan , but I’m sure that is one unfortunate matter that they would be taking into consideration. I hope you guys can keep up these interesting videos and let us know what transpires 😊
We will keep an eye on it! Thanks for your comment 😊
We liked Kecil. We tried a few restaurants on the beach but we didn't think the quality was special. Have you ever tried Warung Old Brick?
Yes, we’ve been to Warung Old Brick a few times… tasty food 👍
Pescado use to be Blue Dusk and was a great little restaurant
Yes it was! Great scrambled eggs breakfast 🤩
How about the Stuja di Pantai? Are they closing too? That’s our go to place near our favourite hotel, the Holiday Inn. We will be there end of February, hope to bump into you, guys!
Stuja di Pantai doesn’t show any signs of closing 🤷♀️
Why are they all closing? I was there a few weeks ago and it was lovely
They’re not closing now!
Can't believe Lilla Pantai is gone. That was our Go To fro brekkie and coffee 😞
The sign on the door said “closed for staff outing”…. Hopefully that’s the case 😊
@@bergsinbali thank goodness for that. It’s one of our faves 😊
Gday are they actually working on the hospital ? last time I was there not much was happening ...great vlog guys!
Yes! It’s going full steam ahead by the looks of it 🤩
Thanks for the update cheers.@@bergsinbali
completion this year and opening first quater 2024 and the hotel Grand Inna is now part of the hospital with accom for the medical tourists and convention centre.
I didn't know this. I go for a walk along here every morning. It'll be sad to see this.
The word is that the development has now been delayed for some time 🤷♀️🤷♀️
We love coco bistro yes great pizzas especially the satay ayam
I love this area what a shame 😢
Hopefully the postponement of the closures reported yesterday is correct & you’ll visit Coco Bistro again 🤩 Thanks for watching!
I really hope The Nest is still there in April. I have $200 in gift vouchers to spend there
I’m sure it will be! But did you know about the other Nest salon in jln Tamblingan?
two P.M. blazing heat - restaurant without fans or umbrellas or any shade of any kind is empty - are you still wondering why? You could get fried like a sizzling nasi goreng there
👍
The Genius Cafe was our favourite
Lovely setting but Berg was once served almond milk in his coffee ☕️ He’s allergic to nuts! He won’t go back 🫣
Genius Cafe isn’t part of this strip of restaurants
Hi. Are they replacing these restaurants and do you guys know why cheers guys
Reports were about a hotel going on the site behind. Today the update seems to be about an indefinite delay 🙂
Hope it doesn't change too much, will be there for my bday end of July...😢
Fingers crossed! Thanks for watching 🤩
@@bergsinbali love u guys, keep up the good work 👏 😍
What a shame, this is my favourite area to walk in Sanur! I love Coco Bistro. Any update on the situation?
Plans for closure have been postponed….
My favourite is the Barramundi.
👏👏 Seems everyone has their favourite! Thanks for watching 🤩
We are coming on the 1st Jan to puri santrian will they be closed then?😢
😭 😭😭
We don’t know the plans 🤷♀️🤷🏼♂️ It doesn’t sound like it at this stage… hope not!
Enjoy your holiday 🏝️ Thanks for watching!
coco Pizza is amazing
Fab views 🤩
Oh my. That is terrible news. We stay at a private home on Kesari when we are in Bali and spend a great deal of time in this area of the beach. It will be a great loss for the locals who work there and the tourists who frequent there.
It has been postponed for now! Wait & see what happens 🤷♀️
Do you go swimming in the sea, where? Do you go snorkelling and where is a good place to snorkel. Sorry unrelated questions to this story. 😊
Hi 👋 We only go snorkelling when we visit Amed. Plenty of people swim & snorkel off Sanur beach though
Hi, can I ask, what about stray dogs on the beach in Sanur, are there any around the restaurants on the beach?
There are beach dogs all along the beach. They are not aggressive or in your way… mostly sleeping and playing with each other
Ok thanks for your quick reply, will be going there soon and I am a bit worried with the rabies outbreak in Bali I read about
The dogs won’t bother you 😊
So the Info is found on FB hardly call that a reputable source , nothing Official ?
“The word on the street”…. 😉
Gotcha@@bergsinbali
I love the Duyung area. I will be very disappointed if the beachside restaurants and The Nest close.
I like Bamboo, Lilla Pantai and Oomba.
A lot of people love to visit the area whilst here on holidays! Wait & see how it pans out 🙂
I visited The Nest Spa multiple times and loved the restaurant next door. Will be so disappointed if they close. I was hoping to return in the future.
Our favorate place is Titie's, warung, i know what you mean about the concrete under your feet, cant beat sand, end of an era, sad to see😥
We love feet in sand…. Nothing more relaxing 🤩
Hopefully it's not true. We didn't venture that way July but have many of those on my list to visit next yr !!
Fingers crossed 😊
We live Look a playa i think you said thats staying. We have had thr puzza its very good. I wonder what they will replothose restaurants with.
A hotel development was rumoured but i read everywhere today that it has all been long-term delayed 🤞🤞
What! No! These restaurants are some of my favourites! 😢😢😢
Development is apparently delayed now 👍
Any update on closures? There in a month.....noooo........
Still open!! Whatever is happening there has been postponed 🙏
It’s a bit of a pity that they are all going to be pulled down. Maybe when the new construction is up there will be room for the restaurants to come back .
We’ll just have to wait & see. Lots of changes/upgrades/improvements/construction along the beachpath
I love Sanur for the very reason that you can eat at a restaurant with your feet in the sand - I really hope they don't strip Sanur of all it's charm! And btw, love your content!
Thanks so much 🤩 Hopefully there will always be many options for feet-in-the-sand dining
Was also Coco Bistro closing? 😕
Reportedly… but yesterday the talk was of delaying all the closures 🤷♀️🤷🏼♂️
I heard Sanur is more traditional Balinese area. How does this area compare to nusa dua
Yes, that’s true! In Sanur you’ll see more local life, cultural activities. Nusa Dua is beautiful but it’s very westernized ☺️
May I ask you 2 a questiom ?
This one? Or another one? 😉
What do you think will be replacing these restaurants?
People say a hotel 🤷♀️🤷🏼♂️ I guess we’ll find out eventually
I love the beach walk improvements from kuta to seminyak. Reminds me of Sanur but at a far more affordable price. Crashing waves makes it more appealing also compared to flat Sanur ocean….but that just my opinion.
It’s always great to be by the water! Thanks for watching 😃
I was in the midst of planning my next Bali trip for March. If these warungs and restaurants close down due to what sounds like developers moving in, i will not be impressed. It will be my last visit to Sanur. I Love that beach strip.
The latest news is that it’s being put off indefinitely, so fingers crossed that means a long time 😎🥳👍👍
@@bergsinbali❤
So why are they all closing? And can you guys form your words a little better for those of us are not from your part of the world please?
Development surrounding it apparently. Delays are being talked about now!
We’re working on being clear in our speech 🙂 Thanks for watching!
havent been to Sanur since 2020 but is this near the Prama Sanur hotel area, i.e. south Sanur? some parts along the beach front in the video look familiar but the names of the restaurants might have changed
Yes, it is… about a 10 minute walk nth along the beach path. The talk since yesterday is that development has been delayed. It’s a wait’n’see situation 🤩
Love to sit on the deck in front of Oomba of an afternoon, watch the sun go down and feel the sea breeze. The setting sun and breeze can not be taken away. Thanks for your fluff and rubbish.
Love that! Thanks for watching 🤩
Thanks for the fluff and rubbish it's always entertaining 😂😂
I imagine people will vote with their wallets and stay elsewhere if their favourite area is under major construction.
I've never been to Indonesia as we chose Thailand for retirement, however we're coming for a lookie see in April next year 😊
Definitely less expensive flights to Indonesia than Thailand!
Hope you enjoy the experience! Thanks for watching 🤩
Who cares these are changing times.More important world issues than.a restaurant closing.
Thanks for watching!
I’m sure the people who own & work in the restaurants will care 😕
All pink fluff and b......t
Sheesh why watch then. Ain't no bigger problems in the world to the owners and workers who won't have jobs to support their families.
I don't watch you I scrolled past,anything to get a headline.
Pescado /wasn't that called Blue Fish before.
