Y'all are KILLING it with the food in Brazil! Every dish even more delicious-looking than the last one. Can't wait to go back and experience it this way!
It's a pandemic, brother. On sundays during the time you visited, the health authorities were closing everything and asking people to stay home, that's why you found the city empty. Now it's worse, we are in lockdown.
Another fantastic travelog. David and Guilherme managed to make a great video on a Sunday, during a lockdown in an empty city but it is still maybe one of the best travel videos ever. I was almost at the end before I realised that the bar was empty. It was so well filmed and edited and the interaction between the guys was so good that I felt as though I was in the bar and at the table with them.
this isn't wassabi, this is mustard with horseradish, "raiz forte" in portuguese. Its a traditional ingredient in the Eastern European and in the south of Brasil...
Their beer scene looks great. I wld pass on the raw meat but everything else looked good. I would love to have a guide show me ard. I found ur channel through Mark Weins. I enjoy it
Dude you gotta get his name right, how many videos now? Anyway amazing videos, and thanks for showing us and teaching us that it is a wide open world of cuisine out there! Better than any TV show.
Hahah, I think they are making a little joke with us about this. Although to be fair, It was very difficult for me to pronounce and remember Brazilian peoples names too.
You from North have this thing that coffee is brought and made by italians, but we don't think like this here in Brazil. Coffee, here, is a brazilian thing before being italian. (Coffee is from Ethiopia, and got to Europe via Arabs and Turks)
David didn’t know you have Hungarian ancestry. My mother is from Budapest and Jewish. I assume only that your father with the name Hoffman is Jewish, but is he Hungarian or is your mother?
Hey yes my grandmother was Holtzer from Northern Hungary the town of Serenc and my grandfather was born in Cluj to Hungarian parents. I love Budapest! Yes my grandmother was a Jew who fled to Venezuela with my grandfather and my uncle back in 1943.
I would love that coffee 🍺. I live in Charlotte NC and we have a brewery wooden robot that has a blonde ale coffee beer called good morning Vietnam that’s amazing
I didnt know you were hungarian. I thought you were Jewish, you have a yiddish last name. My grandmas family was from austrohungarian empire at the time but they are Jewish. Now its modern day Poland bordering Ukraine
David, I am surprised, you have a good blog but you lack a lot of knowledge. Lets go to the basics, never ask the store to grind the coffee, grind it yourself in your house as you use the beens. Grinded beens lose their flavour and get sour. Whole beens keep much longer but you must keep them in the freezer as well. Buy a 10 dlls spice grinder for the beens and a 20 dllr Bialety coffee maker, you really don't need more to start. If you are going to blog about food then you should really learn how to cook for yourself, that of course if you ever want to consider yourself a professional in what you do. There are a million mediocre youtubers out there for the money only, we all eat three times a day so what exactly make you special?

Estão vendendo a 54 reais 250g??? OMG!!!
