That seemed to work extremely well and was cost effective too ! I have a small band mill and have been looking for a reasonable way to get logs to the mill. This setup is the best low cost solution I have seen. Nice job.

Thumb way, way up, sir. That's what I call working smart, not hard.

Replace the hand winch with an 2500 lb wireless winch and you will be the happiest logger in the world!! I did that on mine and it works great!

lol, I have a winch sitting on the shelf...How do you power yours, and what size cables did you use? Did you come off your vehicle battery, or did you use a separate battery

@@anesthesiadreamin I added alligator clips to the cables that came with the winch and use any extra battery I have. Believe it or not I can use a garden tractor battery and get about 50 pulls, they are very efficient. A large battery lasts a very long time.

@@anesthesiadreamin I got the idea from this guy. Change the pulley on the front also.

@@pvwjr you are kidding! That's a lot of pulls! So I have the harbor freight 2500 lb Wirelesz winch, is that the same one you have?

@@anesthesiadreamin It is. I wish I could send pictures on this. It’s a great setup that I can put in any 2 inch receiver.

Very elegant (simple yet powerful). Can you tell me what you use to stabilize the trailer as I couldn't quite see it. Thanks!

Add a second mount to the other side and then there won't be a spot you can't load onto.

This comment is a perfect example of why I love feedback. Why didn't I think of that?

@@anesthesiadreamin I'm just pleased that I've given you something worth while to consider. Maybe it'll help to keep things a little simpler and a little safer.

I'm laughing at the chainsaw work lmao get a bigger saw or sharpen it

I know! I was watching that video again a few weeks ago thinking that sure took a long time... and was sort of surprised nobody had commented on that yet 😁 But that's what happens when you try to sharpen a chain too many times and suck all the life out of it you can. No, the Saw's in good shape, that husky has been the best I've ever had, it's probably just the operator
