Sometimes the soundtrack alone is not enough: this is a loop of 'Redwood Colonnade', with the corresponding ambience of the location, complete with the sound of the leaves rustling above, and the slight wind howling through the trees.

This is the best song in the sound track by far!! This area made me fall in love with this game!
This area conveys such an incredible sense of wonder and awe that it was one of the first obvious choices for making a video like this. You can very easily find these songs online, but the ambience, in my opinion, makes it that much more mystifying and awe-inspiring... At least in my opinion. :)

I agree. The depth of comfort and homliness this serene area brings with the ambient rustling of the leaves and soft winds is nothing short of magical. The song itself is very calming and beautiful with just the right hint of haunting and a little sad. Almost like you're lost.. but you're content and drawn in by your surroundings because it's so charming and inviting. You're lonely but not alone.
Kinda reminds me of being a kid again wandering through the forests in my old city during the day with nothing but a hatchet and dirty hands/clothes lol. Ah, my own little adventures I used to have..

The amount of emotions such simple imagery really goes to show how we've begun to forget how to be good guests in nature. It's incredible how TUNIC can inspire such a genuine love for such things, even though we've forgotten-- I think I would love to be lost in this forest for hours and hours. Taking a nap here and waking up to these visuals, would be surreal.

Thank you so much, and I think it's awesome you used this in your DND session-- the music in this area is very atmospheric, and the ambience behind it only adds to it.
I plan to add some of the later areas at some point so keep a keen eye out; the Library at night is my next target, though I'd love to do the space under the Eastern Vault...

I want to replay it so badly but i want the experience to feel as fresh as possible.

I feel very much the same way; I wish I could play it for the first time ever again, it was a magical experience from start to finish. I've played TUNIC from front to back at least 25 times, I think; it's never enough. Every time I think of this game, I just yearn to spend more time in this amazing world it contains.
I've been wanting to do a TUNIC run again, but have decided to wait for a bit; there's a new game coming out soon called Master Key, and I hope to play it soon-- if that doesn't satisfy my itch, back to TUNIC!

Chrono trigger - Secret of the forest
Very similar tune, and I think it was intentionally written to be similar-- many many people have observed the similarities, as it uses a similar note structure. Considering the roots of TUNIC's inspriation, it doesn't surprise me at all that they have similar tunes. :3
