- The dreamlike visage of the East Forest pierces its' image into your mind... Memory fights against memory, attempting to extinguish the other; Moonrise and Sunfall ensnare one another in an endless battle for time itself.

Sometimes the soundtrack alone is not enough: this is a custom mix of 'Redwood Colonnade' and 'Nocturnals', the Day and Night themes of the East Forest, respectively, synced to play at the same time, with each others' ambience overlapping one another.
Here, you can enjoy the wonderful sounds of both the daytime version and nighttime version; the haunting synths of the nighttime version bleed into the welcoming, gentle sounds of the daytime version; as each one fights over the other to be heard, the resulting atmosphere is one all its' own.
Headphones recommended, as I've 'located' the music where you see it on-screen; in your left ear, the Daytime version, and in your right, the Nighttime version.

I still do not own the rights to TUNIC, its' visuals, or its' audio. Darn...
I do still own an official TUNIC fox plush. He falls over a lot. I also have a pin. And a physical copy of the game. AND the manual. AND the HARDCOVER manual... AND the OST vinyls............
And an actual tunic!... It's not green, though. I also don't think it's official TUNIC merchandise. Sad...

Dawn/twilight mix, I am imagining. Imagine if the game had a day/night system instead of the night sections occurring in the later game... and the music seamlessly transitions between the two versions as the sun sets and rises.
I alllmost had the nerve to make this a video where the scene gradually fades from day to night (along with the music) but I thought that the mix of both at once was more interesting to listen to, and without the actual lighting of the game cycling, it would have looked.. off.
I sincerely wish TUNIC had a day/night cycle, what you describe sounds absolutely incredible-- but also would have made videos like this near-impossible to make!

I'm trying to get as much of the merchandise as possible (as long as it's not the clothing; it's just not my style, sadly) but I'm waiting on the Vinyls as well. They ship this June, apparently, but Mango Mage Records has been a bit slack on the updates; I'm considering doing something neat when I receive them so that everyone can enjoy the vinyls, but we'll see. ;)
I'm glad you like the editing, I've been trying to do some advanced stuff ever since the 3-Mix video, so hopefully it'll be enjoyable. :3

If you check out the Mango Mage Page and are willing to be spoiled, they've released a list of the things we'll receive when we get them; I think it'll be really, really neat to have them (how am I possibly going to display this..?..) and it's definitely going to be special.
Even though I'm hoping to get everything for TUNIC, admittedly I won't be getting the 'Standard' edition; they haven't announced it, but I emailed them a long time ago, asking if the vinyls (in general) were one-time print; they told me that it was just this 'deluxe' version that was one-time, and that they're releasing a standard edition later. Just having the vinyls is enough for me, having two sets? No thanks. xP

but i haven't actually heard anything about that standard edition... guess it makes sense to exist though.
If I recall correctly, they described the Standard Edition as just a normal, black vinyl set rather than the coloured ones, and it can be assumed that they'll just be put in regular everyday sleeves. I suppose that's cool in its' own way, but for me, I'm still excited for the ones that should be shipping soon.
It feels like forever since I've ordered mine, and hopefully it will all be worth it; I have faith, of course-- it IS TUNIC after all, and most things for TUNIC turn out to be phenomenal. Faith.. and patience. :'3
Do you think you will make other mixes of the soundtrack?
I'd like to; as long as there is interest and as long as the songs are similar enough, expect more Day+Night mixes in the near future. :3
