An awesome tip I learnt for survival kits was adding a good quality pencil sharpener. You can use it on sticks to get really nice shavings. If it’s damp you can put it somewhere dry to dry out quickly once in thin shavings too. Its become a very handy cheap piece to my kit 👌🏼
