FIERCE & MDT FIELD SHOOT
Field Test of Fierce Rogue Precision Rifle on MDT HTR 26 Chassis:
The Fierce Rogue Precision Rifle, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and accuracy, was tested in the field, mounted on the MDT HTR 26 Chassis. This combination is designed to offer both precision and ruggedness, ideal for tactical and long-range shooting.
Highlights of the Test:
Precision: The field test revealed remarkable accuracy, demonstrating the Rogue's ability to consistently hit targets at extended ranges.
MDT HTR 26 Chassis: The MDT (Modular Driven Technologies) HTR 26 Chassis offers an adjustable stock, ergonomic features, and a lightweight design, providing optimal comfort and precision during shooting.
Clarke Precision Training: The training provided by Clarke Precision focused on enhancing shooting techniques, ensuring proper form, and optimizing the use of the rifle and chassis setup. The training involved everything from trigger control and wind reading to long-distance target acquisition, helping shooters unlock the full potential of the equipment.
Results:
Consistency: The rifle and chassis combination performed exceptionally, with the Fierce Rogue's precision and MDT's modular chassis allowing for tight groupings even in demanding conditions.
Ergonomics: The customizable features of the MDT HTR 26 Chassis were well-received, as they enabled shooters to adjust the rifle to their body size and preferences.
Reliability: The setup delivered reliable performance, even in challenging field conditions, maintaining accuracy throughout the test.
This setup would be ideal for precision marksmen, competitive shooters, or anyone interested in maximizing their long-range shooting performance. The training from Clarke Precision likely added an essential layer of skill and understanding, contributing to the impressive results observed during the field test.

Nice shooting Ashley. Thank you for the kind words.
Thanks for your help!
Do you not hold the grip and are just pulling the trigger?
@@TsiRoadkill I hold the grip but am careful not to impart torque
Nice shooting. Yup Murray is a wealth of knowledge. Are you using a Kestrel for the real long stuff or just the rangefinder ?
@@TheBackwoodshunter he has a huge depth of knowledge and is able to communicate it well through his training program. I am using my Leica Pro range finder with applied ballistics. Wind calls are just based on field indicators and practicing in the field. I used a kestrel for years which was helpful to get a feel for wind speeds and it’s likely still something I should work back into my kit.
Well said

Sweet Swarovski ATC! Can I ask that how’s the glass/ view compare to the traditional 65/85mm? Planning to get an upgrade my system. I live and hunt in BC as well, due to the forest and environment, is this enough for glassing, searching games, and save from 65/85mm? ATX is too heavy and more expensive. If this is enough in BC, since we can’t glass that far. I would just buy ATC and save dollars. I seen you using ATC a lot lately. Regards!
@@maxhunter953 the ATC is a sweet little spotter. It’s all you need for hunting in BC with the only exception being sheep hunting and determining age. It can do that job but if your buddy doesn’t have a higher power scope it’s a little underpowered for that specific use. For everything else it’s an excellent option for clarity and eye box even in low light. Hope that helps. I sold mine as I am currently sponsored by Zeiss.
@ thx for the information and congrats with Zeiss partnership! Zeiss is super bright, im amazed that their products can go up to 98% light transmission, which only 91% on Swarovski products
@ my SFL binos are the best I have used
Nice film. I think I recognize that area ( or nearby ) What week were you hunting there ?
Cheers! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Thanksgiving weekend
Can I ask your Tripod brand? Trying to pick a tripod which tested in filed like yours

Sorry I thought this was for another video this is my backup ultra light tripod from Sirui which is super light but no where near as stable as the Ulanzi store.sirui.com/products/sirui-traveler-5c-5a-54-3-inches-lightweight-carbon-fiber-aluminum-travel-tripod
@@highbchunting thx a lot do u shoot rifle on Ulanzi or Siuri? Or both can do but Ulanzi is more stable
@ both work but the Ulanzi is by far more stable. Still a long way from the very heavy PRS options but the Ulanzi strikes a great balance between weight, stability, and price.
@@highbchunting some TH-camrs use RRS, but i mean surely and likely that they been sponsored, waaaaay toooooo much money. For the price range, I don’t believe that the RRS can be five, ten times better than other brand 😂

Awesome Video Ash, well done..
Thanks Pete! Released part 2 a couple days ago :)
Dandy eating moose ya got there, that’s what we liked to get when we were hunting them here on east coast of Newfoundland. But in the meantime we wouldn’t pass up a bigger one if we got the chance, they are all good if ya cook it right. Cheers, great vid.
@@lenhowl my love for moose was born in Newfoundland and it’s all about the freezer yield. But don’t get me wrong I was dreaming about a big bull for more meat and how down right impressive they look :)
@ Yes for sure the bigger ones are quite impressive. The last one I shot had seventeen points and I got it about a mile away from my house just outside St. John’s. In the meantime we our part of the city of St. John’s now. Ye got lots of meat there now for the freezer. Actually there was a cow and calf in my backyard one morning last week, I never saw them but my brother lives next door and he saw them passing through. Cheers

Caribou LEH? MU7B?
Nice job Ashley! Next time take a snowboard!
That would have been epic!
Great film Ashley! What an awesome adventure.
Cheers buddy! It was a super fun one :)
what is the rifle sling your running for carrying it under your arm on your pack. Its good to see some parts of northern BC still have a decent moose season
It’s a Kifaru gun bearer and it has been my go to for backpack rifle carrier that allows quick access.
Thanks for the information I’ve seen it being used by abunch of guys but couldn’t see what it was.
@ cheers man!
haa good times
The best!
Love to videos. Can’t wait to see more. How much in all does your rifle and your pack weigh for a backpack hunt.
@@uyjds6952 that depends on the hunt duration. I also carry my own camera gear but roughly 35 pounds on hunts where I day hunt from a base camp. My bag weight on the 10 day sheep hunt this year was 70lbs including camp, food, rifle, and camera gear. The camera gear was about 12 pounds making the rest of my gear about 58 pounds.
Congrats on a beauty Bull Ash. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. I enjoy your content. Keep the vids coming.
@@KevinOetting-p4l thanks for watching and leaving a comment. With hunting season winding down I am hoping to get more content out.
Great hunt buddy…I was waiting on part 1 so I could watch them back to back. Stoked for you gents! Think a far-northern moose hunt is going to have to be in my future, haha
Thank you very much Chris! The north is magic!

A little late but I just found your channel. I'm a born & raised Powell RIverite & have hunted Texada for a long time. The majority of what they are digging in the moss for is Pine mushrooms. If you look you will usually find the base of the stem or just a little grey colored circle where it grew from. Great video & I'm looking forward to checking out the rest!
@@nwredneckturner1508 I figured it was a truffle style mushroom. Thanks for the info! I will research pine mushrooms specifically to learn a little more. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Let me know what you think of the other videos as I am always looking for feedback. Cheers!
Great Video! Were you guys hunting GOS Moose and Caribou or LEH?
Thanks for watching! LEH CARIBOU and GOS moose!
@ that’s awesome, gives me a bit of confidence to maybe try get a moose with the quad next year instead of flying in or horseback. Would be my first time hunting moose so maybe the latter options could still be smarter haha.
@ good luck! Let me Know how you make out!
Enjoy man!
Cheers!
Why tape on over the nut on the brake?
I had a side ported muzzle brake loosen off on a hunt in the past and it was tricky to get it lined up perfectly horizontal in the field. This is a trick I use on my rifles with side ported brakes. It’s also worth doing on all breaks if you are shooting beyond 300 yards as a loose brake can really change your point of impact.
@highbchunting ahhh. Damn smart. Good to know. Thanks for the insite
Worst
Be careful having a simple beer while hunting on camera I wouldn’t be surprised if our government sent you a fine or something.
Right on
We all have to face ourselves
Guess you can shoot from the road there !!
In BC if the road is a FSR and there are no site specific restrictions you can shoot from the road provided it is not maintained by the ministry of transportation.

What inlet for the chassis? I thought fierce actions were technically a slightly different length than 700 clones.
It’s the 700 clone and fits the Rogue perfectly. The fit and finish is dialled right in. Thanks for watching!
