Had my chuwi hi9 tablet for 18 months, used it pretty much every day, it's brilliant not one issue apart from the sound is a bit tinny. I don't play the highest end games but Real Racing 3 plays flawlessly.
As much as I love AMD, on such a low end machine I don't mind having Intel. If I were to buy this for a ton of productivity, I'd go for an AMD configuration any day, but since it's more of a browse-the-web, shoot-an-email kind of machine I think an M3 will do it.
Whoever thinks Intel is good in such systems has never heard of the AMD 3020e or the Athlon Silver 3050e. Those 6 watt APUs would be perfect for such notebooks. How long does it take some people to realise that Intel is total trash in 2020

@@exp3rtgmr It performs exactly as you would expect a 6th gen m3 with 8GB single channel on Linux. I have never used Windows on it, but I'd imagine with Windows it's fairly slow. I hope they make an updated version soon.
Chuwi always has hardware defects it seems. Two of their Lapbook Pro's I ordered had weird blue spots in the display. Possibly glue or grease or whatever. They need to up their quality control by a 1000% as I have read MUCH criticism about various topics, such as random death of their stuff. Shame because they always look nice.
Yeah, mine completely died after about four or five months. Something wrong with the power (tried multiple supplies, including the original). Also the glue on one of the rubber feet turned weird and sticky and the foot fell off. Loved it apart from that, but it's kind of scared me off Chinese laptops.

Please, if possible, pay more attention to the display quality(brightness, viewing angles, etc) as few reviewers mention that some of the new ultrabooks from the likes of Asus (Swift 3) have terrible brightness and colour accuracy.

It's even worse when watching videos but also when on desktop visible. Too bad bc it's overall really good. I will buy another one today and hope I get a working one coz I'm happy otherwise it's soo good.
I love the port selection - I wish Apple could have port selection on their MBP's like this, and Microsoft on their latest laptops !!!. Hate the plastic hand rest. Good honest review, I look forward to your full review

This ''company'' should be banned from selling new products for life. Their customer service and after-sales support is simply non-existent. Such is their ''warranty'' cover. If you buy anything from their products (which BTW most of them are faulty and not quality controlled), good luck! You are left all alone.

YT runs well as for heat I'm still testing and this will all be in the final review. No 16GB version apparently

Notebookcheck just reviewed this laptop. Awful benchmark results. My own Dell with 7Y30 has 1520 points in Geekbench 5.
It's definitely not a performance machine. Your Dell would have dual-channel RAM not single no doubt like this one
