My grandfather talks about adultery when we was growing up he would talk about what the bible says i believe him i am only married to my first husband

@@Matt-jz6ek Divorce is a sin. You can repent of the divorce and be forgiven. You can't undo that divorce. Just like I can't undo my sins even if I repent but God forgives me of the sin. There is an exception that allows a divorce and remarriage and that is adultery. If you study the new testament scriptures about divorce and remarriage (in the language that it was originally written in), you will find that there is a difference between the words used for put away (sends them away without a certificate of divorce) and certificate of divorce. When Jesus said whoever puts away his wife and remarries another commits adultery - means, if they send them away without a certificate of divorce and remarries another it would be committing adultery because they were not legally divorced. If you repent and separate from the person God will accept you, but you can't repent and still remain, then what have you repented off

Jesus forgave the woman at the well who was married five times. He told her to go and sin no more. I don’t believe everything that people say because even the enemy has a false heaven & hell and he takes them into those places. God is merciful and divorce is not an unpardonable sin. Only blasphemy of the Holy Spirit has no forgiveness. Read the Bible. Repent for every sin and keep a right heart before God. Live right. There is no perfect person on earth. That is why when we confess, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
This is the only comment that I see on here and agree with. Our father sacrificed his only son for us to redeem us. There is only one sin that is unforgiveable to my knowledge and this isn't it. The blood of Christ redeems us and if you ask for forgiveness and repent, you will be forgiven.
The problem I see here is the scripture is cut short so as to Justify that we're all condemned. As a divorcee it is never wise to go back to an ungodly, unfaithful ex-husband as he could infect you with a number of infectious diseases. It all boils down to living a pure life which is right with the Lord as the Bible says if your right hand causes you to sin cut it off so that it may not cause you to sin again. It is only a metaphor yet very clear, let's not grieve the Holy Spirit as this is a terrible sin. This speaker is telling of his own experience which was most probably linked to the reason he is in hell so let's continue to study the bible and diligently seek the truth, only God can judge anyone and not man.

the problem is that we chose partners who are not in our league, if "love ships" are so hard for believers, how much more would it be if you chose one who doesn't believe, even apostle Paul warns about troubles in marriages, we just chose because one is Beautyful, handsome, for material gains etc. First mistake we don't even ask God for suitable partner, and when things go bad, we blame God. Find a wife and that's a good thing, and a good wife comes from the Lord, a virtuous wife is to be praised. Says the Bible. But we'd rather chose Hollywoodians, so be sure to cry for the rest of your life and you'd wish that you've never met them, divorce and separation is suicide in disguise, another form of murder.
What I find interesting is that pastors and preachers say divorce is almost unredeemable but that it's ok to commit suicide if you're saved. Yet I'm a leper and can not be blessed in marriage bc of my 2 divorces before saved. A leper

So if you're in a marriage you came into before being saved and the person worships a different god from you or you are being abused, you should just suffer and wait to be killed? If they are unfaithful too you should wait to die of AIDS. When that person is cheating and sleeping with you they are also interchanging spirits with you and diluting your prayers. Did not the bible say divorce is allowed when there is unfaithfulness? I haven't even watched the video and I'm just put off. Im against divorce for the sake of just divorcing especially for those that divorced after accepting Christ and their partner is a slo christian and didn't cheat. Anyway thats just me.

And if you are married and later you realized that your partner is unfaithful, u have the right to divorce according to scripture or remain with him/her and pray for him/her for change of heart.

Nowadays, if there is any misunderstanding between husband and wife, the next step is to post it on social media for advice and opinions of the audience. If anyone is advising u against your wife or husband, check that person's life very well, he/she doesn't have a stable home or has a failed marriage.

Not all of us were born Christians and we are on different painful situations we regret but now that we know better and God has forgiven us , should we wait to die in these situations. I guess people like you who have never been in our shoes are quick to quote scriptures. Most of you saying such things wouldn't even survive a day in our situations. I listened carefully, several times to the testimony of Brother Adam (or Aston), in his visitation from Jesus Christ, as was related to us, in the video by @ApostlePaulTaiwo. I noticed that Brother Adam mentioned that he saw those in hell that were being punished for marrying a divorced wife, and were in torments, for marrying people that were divorced wrongfully for unscriptural reasons. There are millions and millions of people that were wrongly divorced, that this would apply to, today. I also noticed that in his testimony Brother Adam mentioned at 12:21 in his video that Jesus said to Brother Adam during His visitation that "ONLY FORNICATION WOULD BE AN ACCEPTABLE JUSTIFICATION FOR YOUR DIVORCE," and 12:31 "DIVORCE IS ONLY PERMITTED ONLY IN CASE OF FORNICATION." In 14:44 Jesus warned Brother Adam that "PARENTS SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT THAT THEIR DAUGHTER OR SON DIVORCE UNLESS IT IS ABOUT FORNICATION." Brother Adam also said in His video that Jesus at 16:06 in the video quoted Matthew 5:32 just like in the NKJV, and said that "whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Jesus in this video used the terms "fornication" and "sexual immorality" interchangeably, and never once mentioned anything whatsoever in this video about betrothal, or the betrothal theory, to Brother Adam during His visitation. At 18:22 in this video, Jesus quoted Matthew 19:9 to Brother Adam, and used the term "sexual immorality" just like in the New King James Version: "whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” I would judge this testimony of Brother Adam to be biblical, and valid, real and truthful. It placed the fear of God in me, to walk after God, and to keep His commandments in the truth, and not to change any of His commandments.

I was confused I about all this ,in my case I never married but talking to someone that was married before while she wasn't a Christian, she and her ex husband got divorced while still not in the LORD, now she became a Christian and we are talking to get to know each other,I like to know is she able to get married again ,because to my knowledge she can .If not in my age marries someone will be very difficult because people at my age were married once already or I have to find someone way younger.

@@naiyeljosepha7855 Jesus said, "whosoever marries her that is divorced commits adultery." It is pretty simple. A Christian man can marry a Christian single lady or a Christian widow, in the faith. Age does not matter, as long as she is of legal age, as far as the Bible is concerned.

Yea, it sounds like there is no hope. Even if you didn't know, you're still doomed. But then I ask, what is purpose of the Christ death on the cross? Is the blood of Jesus not strong enough to cover these individuals? Is the death of Christ and resurrection only for those who kept the laws? Truth is always bitter brethrens, but it's knowing that truth that sets us free
The truth is Jesus died for all sinners, even if there is divorce. It is unhealthy and damaging to your soul to enter into marriage without an understanding of God's word. If you are not healed from the past, you will continue in sin, it will result in broken relationships or marriages.
We thank You Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth for Your Word and unfailling love for us. I believe there is still Hope through repentance - 2 Cor. 7:14 - thanks to His Blood that was shed on the cross of calvary. Since it is an adulterous relationship, i think with all humilty that, for those whose former partner is still alife, they should put an end to it (although very painful), confess and repent.

In a situation like this, I believe it's good you forgive her and continue with her. Since she's realize her mistakes and willing to come back.
God does not validate Re-marriage, so it's better to stick to the ways of God.

Yes, God doesn't want divorce...that's very clear. On another note, I find it difficult to trust someone who claims to have visited Heaven or Hell. Jesus spoke in great detail of Hell, I don't think he needs to show us more. In addition, Paul was shown Heaven but was commanded not to tell of anything he saw. Why would God allow someone else to do so now?
I don't believe anyone that went to hell can come back. The dead know nothing. Demons and fallen angels are yet to be judged and they will be tormented in the lake of fire.

who tells you the dead knows nothing. they are more conscious and more perceptive than men on the physical earth, take for example the story of lazarus and the rich man. demons will be judged but before then they have the duty to torment lost souls. The Lord grant people to see the afterlife so he can warn his people and they can live rightly.

A person is more alive after their physical bodies die, much more than when they lived in the earth realm. Of course, the physical body is dead and has no way of knowing or communicating but the soul and spirit are alive and remember everything that happened on earth with 💯 accuracy like The Rich Man and Lazarus that Jesus spoke about in Luke 16. Demons and fallen angels are already judged because they rebelled against God; they’ll be cast into the lake of fire on judgement day. Humans have a chance to repent till they take their last breath. You need to get into the word rather than taking scriptures out of context. Repent for your unbelief and ask God to open your eyes to the truth.

If they ask God to forgive them while they are married in adultery will the blood of Jesus forgive them and they can remain married or will god not forgive them? If God will not forgive them then what is the purpose of the death and resurrection of Christ? The Bible says if a man sin and confess his sin god will cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Apostle can you help me to understand. Because it seems like all the testimonies, I listen to about hell it’s as if the blood of Jesus doesn’t even matter has no purpose. No I’m not saying that you’re given a license to sin and do whatever you want even though you are saved, God forbid. What about grace? I think there is something called restitution. If you marry a divorced someone you are committing a sin. I left a man I married after divorce and i never went back to my youth husband cause he was dead. You know why I left my resent husband even though the previous one was dead, is because I married the resent one while the previous one was still alive. I should have married this one while my youth husband was dead already. Truly speaking if you are merried to a divorced person forget about heaven. Heaven is real, and hell is real. Sacrifice everything which can make you loose heaven.
@@spearsc49 Repent and turn away from sin that’s the only way to be saved by the Grace of Jesus through faith; even if that calls you to divorce your second wife and stay alone until your first wife or your flesh, your only wife in Gods eyes is dead then that’s what your gonna have to do. You can also rekindle the relationship with her, especially when you did not divorce because of unfaithfulness in the relationship 🤷🏽♀️ if you really wanna be blameless and spotless you have to do the will of God and study his word, the scriptures and the words of God never changed.

It is allowed biblically to marry a widow. That one man who was sure being married to a widow, how can he be throuwn into hell without having known that the primary husband of said woman was still alive? If all these people are going to Hell most other people will also go there. People gossip, judge, slander, lie, are gluttonous, and fight all the time. All these other sins will send these people to Hell as well. No one can be saved...If sin will condemn so many to Hell what was Jesus crucified for? I can't believe how many Christians proclaim that most of their fellow believers are destined for Hell. Instead of working together for the Kingdom, it becomes a litany of who's going to Hell. Jesus's blood is ineffective if our sin will send us to Hell and Christianity is no different than any other world religion!
Because you are not fully submitted to holy Spirit. In Christ we are New Creation and the Old you has Gone. But if you still fall in these in sin, it's means you are not truly submit yourself to Christ. Most of time when u commit these sin you will fill guilty and know that its wrong.
