+Daniel Davis I'm okay with the amount of fans... They aren't sell outs. They are truly amazing. I met them on the street of one of their concerts in Milwaukee before the concert. They were such normal down to earth guys.
They are so "boy next door" looking but jam harder than the most rocker image dressed musicians out there. They say everything through their music, no need to fit an image! I F--king love them so much!
@@bryangibson1497hey dude , this is actually a real good comparison, im not getting into politics lol , but musically you couldn’t have made a better comparison in my opinion…
the best live performance of The Clincher I've seen. Fucking raw as hell. They always use different tuning for it then on record but here it really worked out for them
The gold one he plays during the clincher (and a lot of others) is a custom built baritone PRS made for him. So is the white one he uses on songs like "straight jacket fashion." So needless to say these aren't production models and cost about 8 grand a piece to make just for him. He has a regular custom 24 goldtop, but doesn't use it much. Easy way to spot the difference: Baritone pickups are further apart than regular guitars because of the scale length.
I now have a new favourite video on TH-cam. I have always followed Chevelle, but I have never heard them live. I wish they would come across to the UK at some point!
I agree that Pete could have done better this time. I have seen them live several times.I caught the bad notes but live interpretations are live interpretations. I enjoyed the show regardless. Great upload.
I bought tickets to a show with these guys on the roster for next Saturday. While I ended up picking up the tickets mostly for the other bands that will be there (Three Days Grace, Candlebox, and The Offspring), I'm a even more pumped knowing that Chevelle will also put on a great show. I'm already trembling thinking about it, even with 6 days separating me and some of my favorite bands.
Three Days Grace, sucks ass, Offspring, terrible, the fact you even mentioned Chevelle in the same sentence as that trash makes me want to kick your ass.
I fucking LOVE the big sub drops they use. Am I the only one who gets severe chills when they do the sub drop test during sound checks at their shows??? Favorite band!
Before they got well known, Pete was a much better performer in that he didn't perform for the audience. He was like in his own little world like Kurt. He was more arrogant in good way. No way would he talk to the crowd. It was magical. He's really wrecked his voice too with all the screaming. He had one of the best voices I have ever heard in a rock band.
Arrogant? He didn’t “sing for the crowd” because, as you said, they weren’t well known. How can the crowd sing along to songs they don’t know yet? Of course he engages with the crowd more considering more people know their songs…that’s pretty normal. And his voice has gotten better over time if anything. If you’re expecting him to hit all the screams and notes he hits in-album while they’re well into a tour, then I don’t know what to tell you. Also, pretty sure he mentioned he was “coughing sh*t up” in between one of the songs, so chances are he was also sick.
I've seen a few Breaking Benjamin live vids and some Chevelle vids. I bring up BB because Ben does the vocals and guitar too and what I noticed is that while Ben doesn't cut off as much, Pete puts on more of a show. Not to mention Ben has another guitar player to back him up. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I think they're both great. just an observation.
Chevelle rules they have a song for ever mood and its crap that many people dont like them every time a watch a live vid on youtube the crowds are crap and i do not know why LOVE YOU CHEVELLE!!
This band should have more fans

I love how drummer looks when he's playing. so happy :)
They are so "boy next door" looking but jam harder than the most rocker image dressed musicians out there. They say everything through their music, no need to fit an image! I F--king love them so much!

Reminds me of high school 🏫

The golden one
I'd love a studio version of that intro during an acoustic playthrough.

Mark Wahlberg on the vocals?! Haha
It looks like Jimmy Fallon impersonating Mark Wahlberg lolol
Marc Jones Marc Jones hahaha that's a perfect description. I never noticed any Fallon in him until you said that.

Dane Cook is a pretty good guitarist!
Totally a less funny looking Dane cook
Still waiting for some EU tour
Sooooo many great songs theyve only made 4 or 5 songs I dont like out of all of their albums. Why are they not more famous?
Go Chevelle!
The transition into I Get It... the transition doe. Wish this vid wasn't so 240p.
I get chills when he screams
I fucking LOVE the big sub drops they use. Am I the only one who gets severe chills when they do the sub drop test during sound checks at their shows???

Hilary Helena And Kurt Cobain was And will always be the best

Their stage presence reminds me of Nirvana for some reason.
Maybe because they are three piece
@Withateethuh If you notice he's on it with the new songs though. It seemed like he just didn't really care about the older songs.
