Great vid. I want to remove crossbars but keep rack rails. Can you remove the crossbars without removing the roof rack rails, just taking the rail caps off and sliding crossbars out, or do you need to remove rails? Thanks.

No I painted over it. Knew I wasn’t going to be using the OEM rack for long. So I want to worried on the perfection. It still came out great!
