Have been thinking of taking a trip to Copenhagen sometime in the next year and would likely be flying SAS. This video was extremely helpful. Thank you!
Thanks Magnus for this nice video. I don´t often fly long distance but I was happy to fly SAS A350, actually “your” aircraft, Ingeborg Viking, from GOT-ARN-CPH-ARN-GOT (a tuff day) last Friday on 5A. Lovely nice bird and without almost no cargo or JET A1, she took off really fast - a great trip. Looking forward to your next video - keep on and don´t listen to the guys who don´t like the way you make them!
Thanks Göran! The CPH-ARN flights are a perfect way to try out the hard product. 👍🏻 Glad you enjoyed. No worries regarding very few negatives. Nobody can please everybody. 😅
Thanks for this review. I love the calm measured way you show us all of the experience, from the checkin to the arrival. The colours of those suites are great. Very restful. I'd really like to fly SAS one day! Enjoy your next flight.
Thanks, Magnus! A nice review again. I like very much the food you were served for lunch; showing all the options in a cart is a very nice idea so you can choose after seeing them. Presentation of food looked great, I hoped it tasted as nice as it looked. And yes, the amenity looks quite cheap. Keep them coming!
Thanks for your input! There were a lot of good things about this flight. The seat, crew, and the food. All really great. Therefore I think it’s sad that cost savings are done at something like the amenity kit. A decent amenity elevates the feeling of luxury, and when paying for a business class ticket one expects something else than tame kit delivered. But as a whole, a great experience. Thanks for your input and for watching!
Before this flight I hadn’t flew SAS longhaul in Business in over a year. And I agree with you. I think they’ve really stepped up regarding food. Enjoyed the meals very much. Appreciate you contributing to discussions and the channel every week! Thanks for watching. 🙏🏻
i also took this flight from Copenhagen to Haneda in business class. I was very happy with this flight and im probably gonna book with SAS more times 😊 I must say that the lounge at Haneda Airport is quite nice. Seats is very comfortable and the view of airport from the windows is great!
Thanks for this video. I am looking to take my first flight on SAS Business class in June flying from Newark to Arlanda. Looking forward to the flight and visiting Sweden.😊
As a Norwegian I think it's cool SAS flies to Asia, but they must have a lot of salmon in that cargo hold! The flight looked empty. Especially with them struggling so much financially. But it must be working for them since they are increasing departures for the summer programme.
Thanks for watching! Yep, not very full flight, but the business cabin was full. During summer season it’s a popular route, so I guess it’s a good deal to increase departures then. Also in general it’s a good cargo destination.
SAS is a very underrated airline. My experience of them is that they have almost always had good food and their cabin crew is always very nice and caring.
@@travelexperiencetv9916 yes! Now I’ve flown the A350 twice without having left Scandinavia for it 😂 one in economy and one in business, which has a fantastic hard product imo!
Tack för en bra rapport. Det var inte många passagerare som kanske var tur det? Jag är nyfiken, vad gör du när du är framme? Är det tjänsteresor eller privat?
I slutändan var biz full. Men i övrigt ganska tomt. December är nog generellt sämre då jag vet att stora delar av året är planen ganska fulla. När jag kommer fram till destinationen njuter jag av staden jag besöker och framförallt maten ;) Tack för att du tittar och intresserar dig! 🙏🏻
I have done a few long haul SAS flights from/to CPH. Politicians in Stockholm are worried that ARN will lose some of its importance. Make Sweden less attractive, a soft power loss and complicate Business life in the most important capital in Scandinavia🙂. OSL is also growing (an airport I like and have lots of experience from).
Thanks for your input Anders. I agree. It’s quite a delicate situation regarding Swedens largest airport. The political situation during the last decade, with decisions opposing the airline industry of course have given incentives to place the new SAS routes in Copenhagen. This is also the case with SAS new route between CPH and ATL. Even though CPH is my travel base, I hope that ARN will come back and be attractive for different airlines. I think it’s of big importance to Sweden as a country. As usual, thanks for your support!
At first, I thought I was watching a video by The Luxury Travel Expert. Such striking similarities...all of which I like, respect and enjoy very much. This is quality travel vlogging...unlike the Tabloid-style (and a list of other colorful adjectives) of Josh Cahill, who also has his camera focused on his face for about 75% of the video running time (on average).
Thanks a lot! That comparison makes me proud. The channel was a big inspiration when I started my channel. And after that I’ve tried to find my own touch, still using the parts I appreciate the most. Welcome to the channel and thanks for watching!
I've used HND-CPH (the opposite!) on business, and the breakfast was far better than this Scandinavian style. I personally don't like these cold cuts you can usually find at SAS lounges and SAS Business Nordic-bound :(. This could be better!!!
Thanks for watching. I guess that it’s different, what people prefer. I really like the cold cuts breakfast but oc also enjoy hot breakfast. Thanks for watching!
Agree. But a good thing is that this has changed after the transition to SkyTeam. The level of the food is in general now much better and hot food is served most days.
Sorry to hear about your experience. On longhaul I don’t see many European airlines compete if look at the whole picture. And yes there are more than two lavatories in business cabin. 😃
Buisness class?after you have flown the middle eastern airlines in buisness ,sas are very dissapointing on every aspect.there entertainment system is a joke and took nearly 1 and half hour to get a 2nd drink..wake up sas!wtf....
Honest critique: this was boring. You follow a very old format. Nobody cares anymore about the drive to the airport or the security lane, or even the lounges, unless they're exceptional. The take-off roll is also done to death. Subtitles are also not very interesting, as you speak English. If I were you, I'd do more narration, and focus more on the experience of the passenger IN the cabin, not in all of the public areas of the airport. If you could engage crew that would also really help. I want to like your work, but the format is tired.
I have to disagree about all of this, as I enjoy the format and content of these reviews. In particular aircraft crew are there to do a job, not to be interviewed by passengers. Keep up the good work Magnus. By the way my only experience of arriving at Haneda was awful with very long and slow queues for a surprisingly inefficient immigration process. I was part of a tour group and it must have taken at least three hours for us to all clear immigration.
I disagree I also like the format very much. It is interesting and relaxing. Also I like the whole experiance including loung etc. but also would like to understand the arrival experiance. Maybe a summary at the end would be nice

You’ll get both main meal and breakfast on your flight wish you a great time.
@ 15:30 looks like the guy has got a fireplace scene on his monitor. :)
Indeed.
I flew on SAS A350 (SE-RSD) in the same seat 2H from ARN to CPH! Was fantastic to try business for the first time 🤩
