You just put me on. I got some king crab legs 3 pounds and 2 pounds of shrimp, looking forward to making this tomorrow exactly with the seasonings you put on screen. I will update you tomorrow!
everyone please if you want good crab legs and you live in canada please buy them from safeway. They are good quality and if you don’t like the way they look they will give you a refund. Highly recommend I want everyone to have a good seafood boil like the way i did mine😊😊
I have to say thank you. I just made this and it was so delicious. I didn't use it for mother's day but for my wife's congratulations dinner. Again Thank you this was amazing. God Bless you.
No hate at all this looks great but just wondering y’all don’t have crab boil? I’m from south Louisiana we have crab boil we throw in a pot with butter they have liquid boil and seasoning. I don’t know I don’t leave the state much.
This is one of the first ones I've seen cook the potatoes/veg and then later add the crab, usually it's everything in the pot at once and I know those potatoes are either under/over done 😅. Good job man! Looks delicious
I just did one today. I use sausage, clam, crab, shrimp, crawfish, and of course onion corn and potatoes. It rocked. Wasn't even that expensive, I fed 3 people with left overs to make 2 lunches tomorrow, and I think everything cost me like $65? I thought it'd cost me a ton. But naw, 6 clams each, 1 crab cluster, 2 corn (small, like 1/3 Cobb) and a bunch of shrimp, crawfish, taters, and sausage.
Not sure if maybe my pot was a bit smaller (looked like the same size as yours to me) or something, but I’m going to caution everyone here to use their common sense when adding the seasonings in. I did and I thought “this has to be way too much salt, between the crab boil bag, liquid, lemon pepper, and Cajun seasoning, all of which being mostly salt”, so even though I used all the same brands as you, I followed my gut and added significantly less of the crab boil and lemon pepper, and Cajun seasoning, and it STILL came out slightly too salty. Thankfully it was still edible. But I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if I added everything in the recipe at the amounts stated word for word. Would’ve been a lot of food including expensive king crab, gone to waste. Just beware guys. I’d start with half the seasonings into the water as stated, taste it, and then add more if needed. Most importantly is tasting the water before adding your food into it.
I live near the beach on the boarder of Maine (in NH) & it’s crazy to me that there’s a seafood place every mile around here but none of them serve seafood boil… everyone around here either likes lobster or fried seafood platters Makes ZERO sense! No one even eats crab that I know… maybe I’ll open my OWN crab/seafood boil shack near the beach myself!!!
I remember going to Cape Cod years ago and no restaurant served crabs. Everything was lobster. I was like how do you guys not have one crab dish on the menu? It's a coastal area. They were not feeling it.
Exactly!! Also sometimes the crab legs can become too watery and the meat 😢💥too mushy..if too much water is added...that's how my boyfriend mess his crab legs up🤦🏽soon as I was cracking the shells the water comes out...I couldn't eat them...and I love crab legs..I rather steam mine😋🦀🦀🦀
@@kayoo_this why fellas cain't have nothing. you try to make a nice gesture n mess up the crab boil? she gon tell youtube comments. "If they'll take it to the internet, they'll take it to anybody"

I think you meant to say 1.4 kg, and 900 g.
@@waspwrap1235 no they meant to say what they bought at the store, which in their area was pounds
@@goowoo69420 nah, since metric is a much better system, I think they meant to type kg but the entire computer malfunctioned, and made them say lb

Looks good except one thing shrimp should not cook longer than 2 or 3 minutes. 15 or 20 minutes will turn it to rubber.
