  • What's it like at Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast come along and join me on the full tour!
We start on the beach and check out the Aldeburgh scallop shell which has been placed on the beach. we walk along the seafront and check out the old town hall! some of the best hotels to stay in a great seafood restaurant and check out a unique place to stay!
by the way, I couldn't use my drone as its part of a nature reserve and wanted to be respectful.

The nice thing I like about the East Anglian coastal towns and villages are that once you get into the streets off the promenade all you can hear is the sound of silence, living in an urban area with thousands of cars going past each day along with hundreds of blue light vehicles, ( I live next door to a large police station ) and just a couple of hundred yards from the town centre, it is just wonderful to bathe in that sea of silence and immerse oneself in a world so different from the one I am subjected to daily, nice video Tim, thank you

The quote or whatever on that scallop is pretty creepy. It's a good likness of a scallop.
That Tudor building has kind of blown me away a little bit. Amazing! As you walked up I thought is that a....that's a Tudor! That was unexpected.

A delightful video in a delightful location. The curious area you point out at 2 mins 50 seconds, are actually boules pitches. You can often see people playing this classic game of an evening if you look out your window in Aldeburgh.

I remember the queues for the fish and chip shop. I was 13 the last time I went to aldeburgh 33 years ago. Camping in august so we were there for the carnival and Chinese lantern parade. Think I might drag my husband away from the Xbox one weekend and go back. Happy memories, thank you 😊

I just watched a Torquay walkabout video before this one, it was noisy, busy, ok if you like that sort of thing, but then I found this one and it was a delight to watch, Tim's usual amicable self, great commentary, interesting, informative, well worth watching, much better than the carnival that Torquay is, but what do I know, I'm just a boring old fart
