Couldn't agree more! I used to do some pretty epic rides myself. With the development of Maelgic Encephalomyelitis I can't ride anymore and watching the riding videos brings me so much joy!

This was fun to watch. I have done many gravel events and rides here in Minnesota and Wisconsin. There's a lot more climbing here and that makes 50 miles feel like a lot more than it is. So the 100 mile events are absolutely brutal.

Heck yeah Matty, that's an incredible accomplishment to have under your belt! Not only for the distance, but the fact that you braved stuff like water crossings, where there were definitely alligators somewhere nearby. Definitely smart to throw some rocks out ahead of you to hopefully clear the water too.

awesome! I am just starting to watch! I rode my Unicycle once 100 miles, from St. Augustine to Daytona years back. It was one of the hardest rides ever. I definitely did not ride 16 miles per hour, but I averaged about 11
Thats the same stop sign with the bullet holes and the gate between the two parks that a friend and I came across biking out there last year. We did 30 miles from Fakahatchee into Picayune and back. That was rough enough so I can’t imagine 100 miles.
Now that was truly epic Matt. I know that word gets tossed around lately but honestly that whole ride truly was, especially through that water, nuts. Imagine flipping the bars on a gator or flipping on a rock and disturbing a water moccasin just chilling. I was def worried for ya bro. You did it though and congrats for facing and concurring your fears. Much respect.
Awesome job bro! Ive tried Sable to 100th to James scenic but the water was to deep. I gave up, turned around but what a sick ride man. The Everglades are beautiful, scary and rewarding!! Turner River Rd. Is humbling. Going north you get to Bear Island very cool camp ground area. Anyways keep up the videos, this was so sweet to watch !! Thank you!!

I enjoyed this video, thanks for making it. I have done a few hundred plus milers on my Long Haul Trucker touring setup and it is quite a feat. I really hope ya'll can do some more of these type of videos.
Great work guys. You’re actually allowed to ride Shark Valley at night. We used to do group rides on full moon nights in the winter. It’s crazy cause the gators come out and sleep on the pavement for warmth.
