I'm with Weiss on this one... What the hell was all that? It more seems like his wife just wrote a crazy plot for another martial arts action movie. If anything, it makes a good gameplay focused DLC.
Just spitballing here, but given either the brother or father don't acknowledge eachother, and their narratives suggest the other is practically wiped clean, what if, like what Nier gave up for Kainé, the recycled vessel gave up their existence for their mother/wife. And the reason why the DLC is so nonsensical is because they're garbled, faded memories of a replicant that is just gone already. Given ending E (novel or remake bonus content) suggests a human has vague memories of the replicant, the diary could very much be the vague memories of the other Nier.
I was playing FF13 to the first remix in this video and I have to say that it fits so greatly into the battle sequences, I feel like a badass everytime I'm battling a King Behemoth blasting that remix!!!
Why does everybody use the Faith sword, I actually went to upgrade mine to Lv4 to see what the big deal is about. But I don't reach the ridiculous damage you guys do, anything I should know? Or is it just that you're a high level?

The best weapon is the 2-handed weapon willpower 841 attack, 50% magic bonus But i prefer the captain's spear.. 700 attack, 80% magic bonus and much faster then a 2 handed

kind of wish young nier was an unlockable costume.
I was kind of aggravated that "young nier" wasn't a DLC you could unlock.
So... there is no story for the DLC ? (except giving hints about a link between Drakengard and NieR)

high level, faith isn't a strong weapon, it's the character's high status that makes the attack ridiculously strong

Try getting it from inside of the game itself. There is an option for that in the main screen.

Personally, I keep Faith at lv 3 because at lv 4 it gets slower, so it's not as good in my opinion.

whys your characters look so much differant than the normal Forms?
Because that's the MC of Nier:Replicant. It's Brother Nier, not Daddy Nier, and if you play as him the whole game makes far more sense.
