​@janicekrieger1922 ,that ship has sailed as the the north sea is a falling resource and I highly doubt a standing army would be on any Scottish government list of priorities. BTBIUK

@@MrCmac731 its a myth that oil and gas are required to support education and health we can afford that now. A 2 brigade army would be done for 600 million about 0.6% of current GDP
