My oldest brother and I were the only ones in my family who liked the bagpipes. Still like them. Everyone else in family is now gone to their rest. I listen when I can.

When I was little I loved the sound and when about 8, I realised that if you listened very carefully, they played a tune!!!!! I still love them.

It's amazing when you think about it, how many people the Monarchy employs. The soldiers, (the clothiers, tailors, seamstresses, embroiders, knitters, shoe/boot makers, herald historians, milliners, Instruments, ........ I only wish & hope that all aspect which were animal derived are suitable substitutes). Oh, all the chefs, farmers cleaners..... it just goes on and on......

Hello from New Zealand, the pipers & drummers are from The Royal Highland Fusiliers No2 Scots. The pipers & drummers wear the Erskine Tartan & the drum major wears Mackenzie tartan trews. 😊🇳🇿❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
