@@miles8233Because there is just no value to be had outside of the serialized cards, and we've seen in every past collector box those alone can't prop up a box's value.
I mean lets be real people who still buy sealed product of any set r just dumb lmao... Just buy singles of the cards u need.
Put foil on old cards. make serialized shock lands..... profit? Oh wait nobody is preordered get the Amazon dumps ready for 3 months after release.

Horrible how they reprint these cards. Nothing in this set needs a reprint. The prices are already all time low so why not bring prices down even more 😂. Good channel btw
Thank God they r dropping prices i hope every cards plummets in price. No MTG card should ever cost more then 20$.
Shocks are staple lands in every format, they should have never reached the ridiculous prices they did, reprinting overinflated cards is probably going to save the eternal formats from their imminent demise. If this is making you twitchy then just wait until fetch lands get their turn.

WOTC can put out sets of reprints because they know they're just printing money. It's too bad they don't live up to the high standards of the incredible game they produce. The art looks nice, tho

Yikes, the amount of duplication was very high. Granted it's only one box, plus so many .25$ reprints just seems bad.
It's kinda the point of the set, they're reprinting things like shocks because they should never have been as expensive as they were. Fetch lands will be next.

Ravnica is my favorite plane so I'm pretty disappointed with this set. Other than the shock lands and a couple of other cards, everything else seems like bulk cards.
Honestly there really does seem to be a lot of bulk trash cards, which I would fine with collecting if the set was cheaper, but they want closer to premium prices.

nice opening. some nice hits. hard to say if i would buy a box but i do like a lot of the old border and anime cards.
I preordered more of this set than any other set. I am 100% all in on retro frame shocklands. The absolute biggest fail in this set is no Doubling Season. Whoever decided to put the card in 2 consecutive sets leading up to this one, and not include it here is a complete moron. I'll still enjoy my box openings and putting together a complete set, but man was this a full-on failure of a decision.

It's a lot a bit early. He claims it's above board, but any shop that sold him this is breaking street date by a mile. And if it was sponsored by Wizards why not just say so, seems very sus.

I like this channel and will always give you a like but I think the remastered sets are a huge mistake. We already suffer from over printing, too many sets per year, and too many variations of cards. The last thing we need is more of the same products which only punishes long-term players who watch our collections erode in value every time the reprint machine strikes. It's really sad... We should all reject secret lairs and remastered products
Couldn't agree with you more. You hear about Hasbro firing people I'm just hoping for them to fire some people at WOTC until they stop with all the reprints and sets being thrown out one after another.
@@KrisPSouls9258 I've successfully run companies and genuinely don't understand Hasbro/ wotc's business model. Even from a greed standpoint, spreading out sets over many years makes them more money. Giving people time to breathe between them allows them to actually enjoy your product and they might buy more than one box of the same thing instead of one of each if they can even afford that. I don't know what makes them think people are buying every single set and Commander product. Even the whales I know who could afford to buy everything have stopped... They are literally cooking their Golden goose instead of waiting for eggs. It's down right insane

I disagree, as a whole reprints are good for the game, and making the game available for more players.
It’s great for new players and the reprinted treatments in borderless are really cool. I bought two draft boosters and might just get a couple of singles and that’s it.
