It is wonderful to see more Americans discovering this incredible young man. Dimash has studied music from the age of five and is currently pursuing his Doctorate. He sings in 15 languages and has a seven-octave range. He sings in all genres from opera to rap. But more importantly, he is a kind, humble and generous human being. This song is from 1970. It is about a human in distress, I heard him sing this on a Chinese reality show in 2017 and I was captivated. I’ve watched Dimash every day since then, travelled overseas from U.K. to three of his overseas concerts and am going to both his concerts in may in Budapest and Istanbul and I am 79. Thank you for showing more people Dimash, the most unshowbusinessy person you can imagine. No ego. Just a wonderful young man from a wonderful musical family. They are all about humanitarianism and charity,

His parents both are singers. His father has a crooner type smooth voice, and his mother is an opera soprano. Yes, he has worked so hard and he is so thoroughly trained that he has mastered more than 6 octave range, and seemingly effortlessly sings it. His pure angelic voice lifts your spirit, and it goes right through to your heart and soul. This song is called "S.O.S. - an Earthling in distress". Not to worry, you actually said his name pretty well. I only discovered him last summer, but as soon as I heard him sing SOS, I was instantly hooked. I became an instant "Dear" - that's how he called his fans. I am 61 and grew up listening to many types of music. A singer or a group can be popular for a period, but eventually their song fades away. Dimash is the only artist whose voice gives me goosebumps and chills every single time I hear him sing. After discovering him, I now have a "need" to listen to him every day. I don't even want to listen to anyone else. He is that magnetic. He is classically trained, and was offered a post at Astana Opera right out of university, but decided to carve out his own path combining classical and modern music together and he has been surprising all of us with his amazing voice, superb technique, endless charisma on stage and projects emotions out to all his audience and listeners and touched everyone's heart and soul.
