I didn't expect it to look so mint inside the assembly.

Totally agree, Huggerstein - All those keys rattling about will scratch everything surrounding the ignition barrel, including the top yoke.A bike shop owner once told me many, many years ago that having too many keys adds to the weight and puts unnecessary strain on the barrel and causes it to wear out - Many times I have had a used bike where the key can be removed with ignition on and sometimes can fall out while riding.

Hey thank you. I mainly watched just to see how you got the dash lights out lmao. But good job on restoring the dash itself. Do you know exactly what kind of bulbs the dash takes? If not I’m just going to take out the old ones and take them to a auto parts store and just ask for the same ones

I honestly can't remember, it's been a while. I don;t have this bike anymore either.

This is where a 3-D printer would come in handy. I am not certain if it can print clear parts though.

Is the red check engine light coming on when you turn the key normal? I got a mk1 bandit yesterday. It goes off when the engine starts.

Yes, thats just a test to show you the bulb is working. It's when the engine is running and the light comes on you need to be worried.

@@AmatuerEnthusiast well, yes but actually no. It is pretty simple electrical Installation, it is on, because the engine isnt turning over and dont pushes oil.
