This is a beautiful thing. Hank's perfectly modeled bebop lines are surely ideal for stealin'. I think of Sonny Stitt in that way, as a perfect storm of learnability. Can't say it takes anything away from my sense of awe, as far as the colossalness of their musicianship, how they make it seem easy by their grace, etc.
Love your videos. Thanks for posting. Jazz language is so amazing ,, how it passes on down thru players in generations long may it live. I hear snippets of this inspiration in the great Jimmy Bruno playing on Weat Thins on his classic debut album. Thanks again Keep up the great vids they are awesome
I’m so happy I found your videos. Have a separate saved playlist for you and other YT jazz educators. I’m thinking about renaming it Crème de la Crème Jazz Workshop!
Maybe one of the best videos on YT.
What a beautiful and sweet sounding phrase on top of one of the most beautiful progressions.
Excellent!!
Great job!
Love this👍👍
That was an amazing analysis. Great work indeed!

Oohhh Goshhhh what beautiful content right here...... thank you. Keep those great stuff coming
Sheeeeesh this made me rethink the purpose of chromaticism. I think there's also a similar phrase found in Donut Plains from the SMW OST
So good. Thank you
Always great videos on your channel! 👏🏻 Great insight in jazz lines

so good! thank you Nick
Great insights 👏
Great breakdown!
I use the piece as a warm up when practicing
All of Nick’s content is excellent. I just wish he’d include bass clef transcriptions for us trombonists. I would be all over it.
I learned to read Bass Clef even though I'm a guitarist. Good thing to read other clefs.
@@Boldstrummer Bebop is hard enough on the trombone. I don’t need another clef to read on top of it. 😊
The language is all there for all to study learn internalise and nail it !
very very good master!!! Excellet! thanks a lot! cheers! 👍🙂
Very cool video!
금요일에 리듬 체인지 솔로해야되는데 덕분에 잘 보고갑니다 단국대 뉴뮤직화이팅

Amazing content as always!
Great lesson, thanks.
Está genial, solo deberían haber subtitulos en español 😅🙌
Awesome content and presentation.
Do you have lead sheets for Bb? Great videos. I love your teaching approach and you have a great tone on soprano? You must be great on alto/tenor too.
Fantastic video! Is it possible to get a bass clef version when buying the package?
That is a good one. I learned how to imitate him.
Mabe they jammed together one time.
