Great Nick! Nevertheless I think it's more important to figure out what do you WANT to play in stead of what CAN you play. Thanks for your lessons! They're great! ❤
Awesome! I was playing that way over Rhythm Changes out of feel. Now I know that feeling was right! Thank you Nick for your awesome and always informative content! By the way, if somebody wants to hear a cool rhythm changes song that uses a lot of diminished, listen to 'What they did' from the John Scofield Quartet! Peace.
Thanks, for sharing this concept. The use of the tonic diminished gives a fresh, modern sound to rhythm changes. Also, thanks, for the vocabulary lesson. Intercalating... cool word!
Always glad to expand harmonic chops , this sound def needs to be in my kit , thanks as always Nick and team , you make me a better equipped player having more fun.

An excellent tutorial of a difficult concept I had been hoping to have explained to me. Really outstanding. Thank you.
Very interesting and useful application of the tonic diminished concept. Ear opening!

You seem to run into a lot of good guitar players .
Love your video. Small error @ 3:16... You have Bb, Bo, Bb, "Bb" (should be "Bo"; no??)
Hi Nick! Could you provide the subtitles of the videos in Portuguese.....I'm in Sao Paulo city, Brazil - I'm subscribed to the channel!!🎷🎷🎶
Yes, but what’s really inside the tin can?!? And what supermarket chain stocks it?
Hi, You are number one in advanced teaching for jazz.MILLEGRAZIE
I find the E natural a bit too much over the F7. Without it it works perfectly, over the F7 it does sound a bit too weird to hear the E natural.
So..THIS is what all you f****** horn players are doing while I'm walking changes. It's about time someone filled me in LOL. 😂
Empty notes
Neutralized dissonance.
