The true reason is that she could subconsciously perceive that attacking Takatou would mean her death. That's why she was aiming at everything but him.
yeah, the fight seems quiet different from the Manga, not sure about the LN. In the Manga it was definitely mentioned about how she instinctively/subconsciously knew not to attack Takatou directly.
Yogiri took the word "Overpowered" on a meta level to that point that it doesn't matter anymore

It felt like it's toned down from the manga. In the manga, rather than shown his status, Aoi depict Yogiri in the middle of white background of nothingness while everything is crumble away. Her sentence is also different, since in the manga, rather than "who the hell did you summoned ?", she straight up thought "what the hell have you done ?", like parents found out their children did something very horrifying it's unbelieveable.
Agreed the manga did this so much better. I remember her also describing that " Takato is the only thing standing in the end because he is the end. The end of everything in the form of a human "
So the main char is basically the fate of everything basically aka The End?
@@Kenzznz Exactly, she also describes that reality itself can be killed should he wish for it. Basically he (potentially) can kill literally everything but that itself contradict his own being because he's also human.

In the manga and novel, Aoi noticed that despite the goddess going crazy and just firing at basically anything around them, she (the goddess) NEVER tried firing a single blast towards Yogiri, and realized it was because she subconsciously knew that she was gonna die if she did.

Basically Aoi try check Takatou status and she realises Takatou ability is terrifying can't see anything. Only see is final destination. She's now in trauma or panic that impossible kill Takatou. So she use Hanakawa for her escape from her death. She's now locked herself inside dimension and crying in panic
@@r4gesoul473 idk if i recall it but her ability is to read people’s fate right? like she can see how a person fare in life, and when she tries to read takatou, the only thing she sees is that everything is dead except him, what she saw is not how fate controls him but how the fate of everything is in his mercy.
@@Suc-Chii - She basically has an ability that's like a wiki page and a strategy guide in one. She can see the history, present and potential futures of anyone and anything, and able to calculate how to manipulate things to follow a certain 'route'.
So, when she looks at Yogiri and tried to use her sight to find a way to beat him, she literally saw nothing but death in EVERY possibility that she mentally tried, hence why she puked right after using her 'sight'.

I don't know where the director get that impression of Aoi vision taken from because clearly the novel never said anything, only said "it was a dead end. the inevitable destination of all fates, beyond which there was nothing"

One of the few characters in fiction that could possibly survive Yogiri would be Medaka because meta-narratively, a one-shot ultra death would be too anticlimactic.
And maybe Saitama because nothing is stronger than Rule of Funny.
Any character can survive so long as they don't exist where he exists, or he exist where they exist.

If this guy is the literal embodiment of the end, then it might take being another being of the end to not be affected. I know one from another series who won't be affected since he's both the end and the beginning. If they fight or team up, then there's gonna be a world of trouble either way.
i can think of three from one series that can do it. kumagawa, najimi, or medaka from medaka box

As the Negator Undead, the two of them negate the very concept of death itself.
Meaning they are granted full immunity from anything that will result in their demise.
This power is absolute in how it works.
Even if you eliminate the concept of death, it creates a redundancy, Andy and everyone else still cant die if Death doesnt exist. And yanking his soul out wont work either(trust me you dont want that monster of a soul attacking you)
So yeah, andys the only person who can beat him in a head on fight.
First of all, before I give my opinion, I want you to answer my question. If the God who gave Andy the ability to negate things ceases to exist, will Andy still have his negation ability?

The union believes that if they kill God, their powers go away and everyone goes back to normal.
Truthfully speaking I hope that's true bc as a manga reader, these guys deserve to be happy. And Andy and Victor deserve to live a full life and die on their terms.
That's the only conclusion this series has. Kill God. End the loops. All the Umas go back to being formless, mindless concepts and the Negators lose their powers and go back to being normal.
The thing is tho. This entire thing is a Schroedinger cat scenario. We won't know until he actually dies. Until then. Everything is on the table.

But if you're talking about Andy he still can't die.
Andy negates the very concept of death. Death doesn't apply to him or rather he repells it like two magnets with the same poles.
Read what I put very very carefully. Andy is granted full immunity to anything that results in his demise. And that includes whatever power this kids Death thing works on.
I'm not even sure Andy can be erased from existence as he would recognize that as a form of death and negate it completely.

How can this even fill 12 Episodes? If he just say die, any Problem is solved. Nah, no Stuff for me.
Basically, all of his obstacles are things like transportation issues that he can't just blink out of existence. Meanwhile, the story is about a bunch of people trying to figure out how to mitigate the damage he can cause.
For example, one person set up a trigger condition that would cause the city he was in to get bombarded. No hostile intent, and he couldn't get enough of a lock on the fast moving targets to wipe them all out simultaneously.
That same person ran several experiments where she cloned herself, with the clones having edited memories so that they could not feel any hostile intent towards him. It sort of worked in that one of her clones survived him killing her.
Another person tried to use a robot to kill him. It can't feel killing intent because it's not alive, so he had no heads up before it started shooting at him. The only reason he survived that was because he had already survived several similar attempts and was on alert for it. Still, it was a close call.
Another group built a cyborg with a compartmentalized intelligence. When he killed its personality unit, the rest of the cyborg's brain survived because they were just advisors and the personality unit was the one making all of the actual decisions and feeling hostility.
You also find out that nearly a quarter of his classmates are actually agents who were supposed to keep an eye on him for various organizations. Which gets really funny when several of them realize that their best option is to team up with him so that he doesn't feel threatened enough to cause an extinction event.
This guy telling the girls in the LN to hold him close so he can feel their boobs even though its pointless to do that is some big brain move
It's not pointless and not to feel their boobs. Yogiri does appreciate doing it but he legit has an easier time protecting others if they're close. His power isn't meant to be precise at protecting others.

Because usually Isekai anime goes dumb along with how stronger MC become. OP Isekai MC always look boring compared to Isekai comedy or usual fantasy. Instant Death has that comedy subgenre but they unfortunately didn't make much effort with that.
So even I like Instant Death, I also agree OPM is better. Especially when its manga was illustrated by Yusuke Murata and its anime based their design from that.
