I thought that when he was ranting but listening more rationally as he went on it was clear that he is right. He says that the US ruling class is insane, yet expects them to act rationally in a highly charged scenario when the US is in steep decline and being mocked across the world, and threatened with becoming irrelevant. Scott Ritter is absolutely right to be very worried, and Carl's cavalier attitude and undue confidence that nuclear war could never happen is concerning. Normally I find Carl to be very rational, but not here. His pro-proliferation stance is insane. All it takes is one mistake to start a nuclear war and end the world in global famine from nuclear winter. Does Carl think that if the whole world is armed with nukes they'll never ever be a single mistake or miscalculation, ever? Does he also think people in the US are safer because they're all armed with guns, or does he think that China's approach of no guns is preferable?

I think Scott had been seriously warned by his government for talking & condemning America until now.
