I did well on the mini quiz on numbers, dates, days of the week and time today in class thanks to your videos, you just keep things simple and clear, it works really well, i like that you added in those random numbers to practise them with in the video as well, i have 2 pages full of them now in numeral, pin yin and character forms, it really helped to remember them by practising them that way. ^^

The base language of Chinese isn't extremely hard to learn, and is easier to learn than Japanese. But Mandarin is extremely difficult, and one of Asia's strangest most challenging languages to learn. It is by no means, impossible though...

My 2 1/2 year old grandson has been exposed to counting thru a cartoon video but he was just watching. I showed him this lesson and he got it pretty well and can connect the character to the correct pronunciation.

Actually chinese numbers are much easier than french ones for example. But in many other ways, chinese is indeed a very hard language.
